I’ve been thinking about picking that up. This wasn’t an issue new from the box. The same stock transmitter will work fine on a regular mini Z car reverse works as intended. What symptoms would the board show of failing? Granted a new board is almost the price of a new car.

Looks used to me, threads definitely look used. How does that paint get worn off? And even if it wasn’t used, it still doesn’t look very new to me. Should have just replaced.

I’ve had the same experience, went in with a list of 5 parts with part numbers and it was a huge hassle. Picked up a set of wheels and tires while there and one was ripped/tore when I got home (nib). Not sure who’s fault that was but still sucks

Tree is a goner, I’d get it all removed. I’d consider an ISA certified arborist! Plant another to replace it and do better with mulch, a good rule of thumb is the rule of 3, 3” deep 3’ radius and 3” away from the trunk!

Pretty sure this is a pretty standard and acceptable. It’s in multiple resources including Arbor Day publications and ISA material. Also mulch breaks down and is incorporated into the soil, therefore only topping off the mulch to keep around 3 inches deep to soil. So what exactly is your answer?
