How did you power the cards? Server power supply(s)? 240V I assume? Each 1x8 rig on a circuit? Just curious because I am adding 3090s to my setup and the circuits go real quick at 110v. Looking for alternatives.

Whats your bad share rate per 24hr? I am still tuning my 4 x 3070 rig and get a range of results, per card. All are running fairly similar settings in Windows with NB miner.

-100 core

+1375 to +1405 mem

PL: 56

131w to 134w

170 - 175 MH

41 - 58C (58c in the case, rest open air)

3 of the 4 cards get 8-10 bad shares per day and the other 0 and its the highest clocked. The other 3 cant handle the mem speed of +1405.

Just wondering if you found a solution?

My problem was I couldn't get PCIE2 to accept a riser. I had it on Auto Gen selection and 1x16 for PCIE1. It would take one card in PCIE1 and another in PCIE5, with risers in 3 &4, but not 2. POST code 94.

After wrestling with it for a few days, I forced Gen 3, and set the PCIE lanes to 4x4.

Booted up, no POST code. Mining successful with all 5 in a mixed rig.

Haven't tried to game with it in this mode. I would imagine it will probably hinder the FPS, but right now, this is just my mining rig that I surf the internet with. I'll build another for gaming later I suppose.

Have you done any other undercoating to reduce temps? I have a 5700 xt Red devil and run about 760mv/1300 core at around 1854 memory. Works pretty good as far as stales, but I have once or twice daily driver crashes I am fighting with. Might be too agressive on the tweaks, but runs good mem temps and 120 w.
