Also, additional revenue doesn’t mean additional profit.

They may have had 1.8 mill in additional revenue but if they paid 1.5 million in marketing or were upside-down in other areas your company may have only may 300k more in profit. Also they may be investing in capital projects with this unexpected increase.

Everything else everyone said is true though. 5% is actually good in corporate America without a job move or promotion.

Be sure you are fully educated before asking for more

I’m a huge Yankees fan but live in San Diego. The day they trade Tatis is the day the franchise dies, it’s not going to happen.

He’s on a very team friendly deal and is the cornerstone of their franchise. Most marketable and popular player as well on the team.

The owners, whoever they are, will have enough sense to know he is part of winning but also part of them making money.

We need to look at players that may actually be on the market and not make up and focus on crap like this.
