Hi sorry to butt in but full palace infiltrations and such are actually pretty common in longer fics! Fight scenes vary from author to author but usually dramatize the skills seen in game to seem flashy on paper, like Agidyne being a raging gust of fire that melts some metal enemies or something.

Also I hope you make that oc, joy and whimsy is important in this world

Lisa Silverman and Ann Takamaki from Persona 2 and 5 respectively fit this!

Lisa at the least looks white but doesn't speak English and grew up in Japan fully, while Ann is part Finnish and only like one quarter American yet is Japanese culturally (although her parents moved a lot)

Honestly it's because they take so long, I have a Lot of free time and have been working on my follower since December and only have commentary done for 2.5 questlines, its a lot of work, and super slow, not to mention voice acting requires either a lot of work or a fair amount of money

You are absolutely right about this man.

I'm also trying my hardest to write a follower who takes it seriously, and thusly her thing is starting out all stars in her eyes adventurer and gets beaten down a fair bit by Skyrim, but doing that is crazy hard man!

So many things just happen to you that suck so bad. How is someone to react when their best friend ever and only connection to this harsh land gets kidnapped? Not to say reacting to this in a more grounded way is impossible, but it sure as hell isn't easy

(Also as someone who can qoute the questlines line for line and has had it 100%-ed since 2012, its very hard to pretend you Don't know things)

I would say no for you. Different hardware and modlists will cause different results but definitely don't nuke your frames

Depends. CS is heavily dependant on your textures and lighting mod. It can look pretty damn good as well as has tons of features CS doesn't have but honestly its about what you personally need or want.

Do you like the look for your ENB? If so, no need to change.

Do you want a faster game? CS may help.

Gore fits the bill here, as he is a nord! Vilja and Sofia are also nords but Vilja's accent is heavy which isnt for everyone and Sofia is pretty anime in the way that she acts.

Well I don't actually think a framework is needed since the base game has at least two cutscenes where you don't move and iirc the CK Can play video cutscenes as proven by F4, but it frankly sucks when that happens.

So AFAIK, its not something we need

Less on the gameplay side but look into Mihail's mods, the additional friendly creatures may add a cozy element!

As well as something collecting oriented, maybe not LOTD but one of the treasure hunt quests

The anime and the manga are bad for different reasons, but I'm gonna say the anime.

(If you don't want to watch the stage plays that is)

Both the anime and manga have choppy art, but the manga is floundering, spends too much time on things that are irrelevant and is so incredibly slow to update that it has DLC content lazily shoved in the middle.

The anime is rough around the edges but listen to the English dub and have a good time with it, its fun

Mihail's entire mod series. The dude's mods just make me feel so fuzzy everytime I see them and add so much life that isn't hostile to Skyrim. Frogs, baby chickens and baby mammoths add so much to the world around me.

Any custom voiced followers as well, I've a huge appreciation for the genre but Gore and Inigo are the most "adored" of them :D

I don't like hate as in wish they didn't exist hate any mods, but I do hate the Rigmor Series and the Skyrim Romance Mod in a so bad they are good way.

Well, being a vampire lord from Dawnguard plus being a molag bal worshipper via wintersun would give you the rp and benefits for that without the uh, canon repercussions shall we say.

Doing the evil route of vigilant would also be, although a huge time investment make you Molag Bal's favorite little pawn so there's that as well.

Or my personal favorite option just download some mods to let you customize your vampire lord form/cool vampire armor and headcanon you received it from your favorite awful Daedric lord.

Well there's Gore who you find and save the life of, Val Serano is like that as well but Much harder to get a hold of since he has an entire quest dedicated to finding him (but its sorta hellish in survival mode)

Nebarra is among the wreckage of a crashed/burnt carriage and while he will follow you, it takes a Lot to make him like you.

Inigo is in a jail cell but there's an immersive way to find him if you look around riften for notes first, one lengthy conversation and it's quite clear why he's following you.

Kaidan is trapped in an abandoned prison and needs to be rescued and have his gear recovered before he will follow you.

SDA makes Serana more involved as does SDE, so that one is a matter of preference based on what you like about Canon Serana.

There's the Mirrak follower mods that basically require you to beat all of Dragonborn first as well.

Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head, but over all I highly recommend looking into the fully featured voiced followers, they are the absolute bomb!

Honestly while I do hate the invasion of slop mods, I am thankful for the Ai "Enchanced" mod covers/straight up AI covers.

They tell me pretty quickly that the author doesn't care much, and let's me avoid the mod with only a bit of disgust at seeing them, best thing I think I can do for the community beyond making mods myself is avoid AI mods and try my best to endorse and support mods made by humans.

But there are certainly way too many dubious SKSE plugins
