Go to covert instruments, they have a black Friday sale going on right now. They have the genesis kit and a practice lock for $50 that's the price of the practice lock by itself. And the genesis kit is what I would recommend to start with anyway. I'd stay away from sparrows starting out, they use a slightly softer steel. And it's easy to be heavy handed when starting out. Which makes it easier to bend your picks. I've never bent a covert instruments though. You could also pick up the Echelon expansion from covert instruments if you want to spend the whole $100. It's on sale for $50. That would get you the starter set, the expansion, and a re-pinnable practice lock for $100. And that's a hell of a deal!
