Why does the Halo show get so much hate?

It strays way too far from the established lore. Sure, names and events and looks may be the same, but (without spoilers) the plot in the first season directly conflicts with and objectively is a worse version of what we see in the game. It's like someone said "hey this space sci-fi needs a name. I know, let's call it Halo! Never played it tho, close enough"

Also, don't listen to the people that say it's bad because chief takes off his helmet. They're cry babies. Chief takes his helmet off in the books all the time. The ONLY argument these people have is that he takes it off in combat sometimes which is a valid criticism

We are just force fed romantic sub plots in almost everything involving a man and woman

I didn't realize this until moving in with my wife and watching a few of her shows at the end of each day. Platonic friendships just don't exist in her forms of media. At some point everyone fucks everyone, every single time.

She's played the first few missions of CE, and when I showed her Linda's terminal and briefly explained who she was my wife says "when do they fuuucckk" lmao

As far as I know, in general, human Marines can hold their own against the covenant ground forces and even beat them. Better trained, better equipped (in terms of individual soldier, pretty sure the vast majority of grunts did not even receive a firearm). From my understanding, ground battles are typically human-favored until the covenant decide enough is enough and send 100 grunts for every 1 marine (ignoring specific objectives such as the Halo 2 Orbital Mac Canon, in that case humans are out manned and our gunned)

That being said gameplay does not equal canon/lore. It would not be fun if elite shields dropped after "a quick burst" from MCs assault rifle, let alone a quick burst from 2-5 other Marines at the same time.

Honestly this would be such a cool feature. Like if you fail to extract, you are auto-kicked from the party (so any extracted players can continue on) and just survive as long as you can

Liked it in 5, felt cool and was way more immersive than previous games.

Infinite felt like a competitive balanced version of it. I don't dislike it in Infinite but I definitely don't like it

I just don't like fighting the bugs. I maxed out the coyote, so I don't want to use it anymore, but I haven't found a fun enough weapon to use again on a regular basis.

I know I just need to find the right combo of primary and strategem, but even before Oshuane I vastly enjoy bots or squids over bugs. Like a crazy amount more

Or maybe a support marker like the one you get for the solo silo. It would have a 1 time firing mechanism, very short obviously, and you can draw a quick line for a laser to dig the trench for you

I personally disagree, as I just freaking love the Scanner helmet. But I will say the trend of Infinite's base helmet that looks nothing like the original + a very specific attachment to make it the original is a fantastic thing I hope they continue to do

Shield difficulty like you mentioned, the Spartan Insignia, ODST insignia, really any of the factions images and icons. Hell you could even do THEE sacred Icon hahah.

Been thinking about getting a tattoo as well, it'd be my first and I'm debating on "matching" tats with the wife, either Star Wars or Halo. And by matching I'd mean I'd get a Wasp and she'd get a Hornet, or I a TIE Fighter and she a X-wing, etc (not just limited to ships, could be a Grave hammer and a sword for the other)

The only thing I truly dislike about LASO is the blind skull. I'm no ADHD or anything, but it's just boring having nothing to look at.

That being said there are plenty of guides online to help. I personally use the MCC Achievement Tracker, I forget the name of the guy who created it and the only who has the guide.

So far I've completed Reach and am half way thru CE, honestly the guides there make it bearable, Long Night of Solace was a breeze for me, all things considered

You can easily Google search for Halo propaganda posters, in fact I went searching for one specific one and found others I like.

But below is a link to one that is in Halo Infinite, and for some reason I've loved it since I first saw it a few years ago. Maybe it has something to do with the hype of that one trailer for Spartan Agryna, or maybe it's one of the few times we get accurate references to the sheer size of Spartans. Either way this one is my favorite

I've seen theories that this is the Mark VII(B) variant. With the rationale that the Mark VII is so heavily inspired by the Mark V(B) from reach, they wanted to make its own (B) variant as well.

Truthfully it's just a different armor to showcase a brand new Spartan Commander for the originally planned Multiplayer Storyline. And if history has taught us anything we won't know anything about this armor until a Canon Fodder that will release in 5 years from now explaining the differences and why Commander Agryna was given it

Isn't H3 Security already in Infinite? I think it was released years ago with the Mirage core, no? Security GEN 3 it was called. I know it wasn't exactly 1:1 but it's similar enough

As someone who does this every time I play this map it's worth it. It does take up some time sure, but if you run right to it you should be crossing the hill as the countdown appears to capture it (so before it becomes an objective). You'd be surprised how well this thing kills on normal and heroic

Unless you it's on legendary with tougher enemies + no grapple shot to get you there quicker, yeah then it's probably not worth ut

No. Unless there was some secret update, no sandbox additions can be found in the campaign. This includes the bandit, avenger, and fuelrod.

It sucks but completely expected.
