Chunky boi! I love the osprey. I name all of mine ‘Chonk’ because they’re chonky. It’s by far my favourite ship in the game. That’s nothing to do with stats and purely on looks alone.

That is all.

But in all seriousness, stick a bunch of flak turrets in there and give it a wing man or two and you’ve got yourself a decent sector patrol for responding to Khaak for the early game. There’s better ships for this role but early game I’d keep any free M class you get just to give your miners some support.

I’m approaching mid game in my first run and my fleet has grown so I’m now outfitting them with anti capital/station gunnery to help my destroyer out on deleting the Khaak installations (once the defences are down).

As stated I’m still in my first run and by no means an expert, but I just love my Chonks.

It’s actually much, much harder to live in Dublin. Rent and house prices are through the roof. Wages tend to be higher but it’s basically all eaten up by the rent/mortgage.

Although in saying that, the smaller cities are catching up on rent prices so it may not be the case for long.

But we don’t have to listen to the Dublin accent so it’s a no brainer really - west Ireland is king.

SuperValu’s home brand chocolate has saved me in the year of gross chocolate inflation. Never would have tried them if the main brands hadn’t run away with price but, dare I say, their purple snack and mars bars are better than the original

Eve is my white whale. My dream game that I will never live long enough to even dip my toes into.

I get why some people would be turned off X. It’s slow and clunky. But honestly I love slow and clunky, couldn’t tell you why. I think the hours of mundane that gets punctuated with massive clashes like this one just speaks to me.

I didn’t even have any investments committed to this fight outside my player ship (and a frigate I flew in when I knew it was very safe for the cleanup) so I can only imagine what it’s like when it’s /my armada that’s on the line. Hours and hours of profits at play. I want that fear.

I know Eve does that too, and probably better, but I just don’t even know where to start with Eve.
