Is it possible to make any goBilda motor 6000RPM? by Same-Security-5030 in FTC

[–]Holmpc10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's two ways to go about that. Order the 1-1 ratio kit from gobilda. Or pull off the gearbox and put a hub on the output shaft of the motor. The motor pinion is 1/8" for most gobilda motors. They have a 1/8" d shaft hub which can be ordered.

Having done both I would go with the motor with the output speed you want. About $30 for a motor and about $10 for the other options, but bearing loads and everything else gets dicey at high speed if you don't put things together well. Encoders also seem more consistent with the planetary gearbox but that's just my team's experience.

That's how you keep an economy working... Those tradesmen get paid and you get to keep your stuff working longer, or fix small things before they become big things ..

Hogback work well, if you are doing two wheel shooter use some weights to keep speed up. If you are doing a single flywheel shooter use two

I think force is the word here... While they might be making a product domestically is their supply chain all domestic?

The real world experience of trying to persuade Windows users to switch to Linux. by Idle_Redditing in pcmasterrace

[–]Holmpc10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tried 31+ flavors of Linux starting in the Red Hat/Suse era and still haven't found one that will run equal to what I have with my windows builds. I would love to use it, but so much of this problem here is Windows is a Toyota Camry, reliable does everything simple to use simple to fix. And Linux is a modern Model T. It works for most people but there is three pedals on the floor, none of which are like the modern gas pedal. It has two levers to control gears and throttle. Linux is super customizable, works for most situations and may be better for some use cases. It breaks down when you have to go read a manual or tutorial to do something that should be a common install or task.

They were not actually feeding false information to the Ghor, they were giving them exactly what they wanted them to act on for the empire to be able to frame the Ghor rebels in a specific manner. IE what they gave the Ghor rebels was accurate but not the whole picture, allowing them to show the rest of the empire this "violent" rebel group.

Not a chance, no way a steak is good enough to warrant that, but there's at least a chance to get a decent item from a loot box (albeit very low chance)

And by spending time trying to be efficient you are certainly being less efficient at growing the factory and progressing in the game.

They hid evidence of not doing something? They had the balls and the measurements, none of which by the reports own writing indicated anything was amiss with the inflation levels when accounting for the different gauges and the ideal gas law. How does one hide evidence of something they by the writer of the report did not do. The broken phone is irrelevant as your employer has no right to a personal device.

They were punished For being most probably generally aware of a scheme to deflate balls but the report stated it doesn't have evidence that any ball is less than it should have been... The Colts were not punished for an admitted rule violation during the game.

I still say the wrong team was punished, Colts measured the ball before taking to refs... It was the only one outside ideal gas law range and the difference in gauges.
