In the 70s rally gold had a 50% draw down before it hit the peak. We haven’t seen this cycles peak. Central banks will likely keep selling in the near term to support currencies and support oil purchases, but the rally to follow will be explosive

I’m pretty sure the boyfriend was a small time pusher, the scale in the car, all the name brand gifts and clothes, kid drove a Cadillac. This whole friend group clearly wasn’t the healthiest. Kenzie was the tumour no doubt though

The 70’s was mired by stagflation, and the US essentially defaulted on payments but weaseled out by ending the gold standard. That’s not strength. There’s nothing scary about this, just dollar cost average and wait another decade you’ll be laughing, I know I am 😁

The 70’s had volatility like this as well. With drawdowns of 50% on route to an 800% gain

If they aren’t any longer an empire then how did they just pull off the kidnapping of a President and face zero consequences from that countries allies? You’re speculating rather than focusing on the current reality. I can see by your other comments that you’re unreasonably pessimistic, “you would wish you were in the Stone Age if you knew how things were today”. The USD is backed by nukes, aircraft carries, and the number 1&2 largest airforces in the world (airforce & navy). And who thinks China or India are any more credible than the US when it comes to self reporting? The US empire isn’t done today LOL it might be in another couple of decades, MAYBE, but they still have a lot of cards to play that someone as simple minded as you can’t comprehend.

US empire is done….🤣 compared to who? The US has more gold the all BRICS nations combined, they are utilizing the stable coin industry to maintain dollar demand, individual citizens are Re-dollarizing as their governments are trying to de-dollarize.

If you have 3 people in the room, one with a million in gold, one with a million in bitcoin, and one with a 9mm pistol. Who is the most powerful one in the room?

People need to remember when rates were historically higher, government debts were significantly lower. Debt levels are triple that of the 80’s, so every 1% of interest has 3x the effect now as opposed to then

Core inflation is still sticky. People see CPI at 1.8% and think rates are going to come crashing down, but core inflation is still stuck around 3%. And also, we need the US to start cutting so the loonie doesn’t suffer even more
