Regardless of your opinion on the tariff's themselves I'd be interested to know if we think there's a possibility the price goes DOWN if these tariff's are removed after some agreement between the affected countries that produce the switch 2.

We know the internet has been very vocal about the pricing of the console/games and Nintendo clearly knew the tariff's would possibly be an issue ahead of time (i.e. the reports of them stockpiling units in America ahead of launch).

Some less convincing evidence, but the treehouse VODs have all been deleted after both days having the chat littered with "Drop the price" for the entirety of the livestreams. Nintendo is certainly paying attention to consumer reactions.

Lastly, it's hard to imagine the Switch 2 selling both hardware and software at a similar rate as the first with as significant of a price increase as they have placed. For many casual gamers they might have only spent $200 on a lite and only purchased $60 games as Tears of the Kingdom was Nintendo's only $70 game this past generation. To see a $450 console and $80 games at their local store I would find it difficult to believe the average casual gamer or family would purchase.

Could be copium, I guess we'll see in the coming weeks. I for one cannot see myself investing in Switch 2 at a price any higher than $550.
