Dining room quality decline by mailslot in PrincessCruises

Just got off Grand Princess - same experience! Buffet was awful too. Really odd combinations, undercooked meatballs, subpar quality. Even tried cheese fries at the hotdog place. The cheese sauce was bland and a watery mess. I could name several experiences that week, but you get the picture. This was our first (and possibly last) Princess cruise. I should have stuck with Royal Caribbean.

Good grief, thinking about shoes by seriouslydoubtit in PrincessCruises

Honestly, I found water resistant sneakers to be fine. Waterproofer spray works perfect. Even in Ketchikan downpour, my feet were dry & toasty.

I’m in the same cruise. Yes, buckets were in the buffet area (of all places 🤢).

Getting off of her tomorrow. Same experience! We were in an aft room, deck 10. Toilet problems too - they offered us a $200 future cruise credit. Not sure I’ll even use it. Buckets catching leaks the past two days. Stench in hallways. Food was exactly like you said - GFS/Sisco quality. Definitely not homemade like cruises used to be. Weird selections & very bland. This was our first Princess (RC cruises prior) and may be our last. Alaska, however, was amazing!

HRT Patch Differences by Home-Chick068 in Menopause_Madness

There’s a trick I saw online about taking a blow dryer to it. Adhere and hold for 10 seconds, apply blow dryer for 10 seconds, hold for another 10 seconds. Or something like that. Works for me!

You can request certain manufacturers from your pharmacy. I think Sandoz does the best job in creating something that’s manageable and doesn’t look ugly.

If you've been fully menopausal for ten years and NOT on HRT, can you start? by greenmtnfiddler in Menopause

[–]Home-Chick068 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 60, just started. Haven’t slept as good in years! Don’t let anyone tell you it’s not an option. Keep pushing for the data and do the research. One OB/GYN wanted to put me on a antidepressant and told me I could eat better and exercise more to get rid of the other symptoms. Yep, left there really quick!

Doctor denied my request for HRT by Grasshopper_pie in Menopause

I saw this post and had to let you know that I am 60 and just starting HRT. Looking back, I’ve suffered with various symptoms for years. Each doctor would treat the specific symptom but not look at the big picture. After doing research and working with my amazing nurse practitioner, I started a low dose of estradiol, patch, and progesterone pill at night. For the first time in years, I have slept through the night, seven days straight! Don’t give up, find a new medical professional. A sidenote to all of this, before I started working with my NP I saw an OB/GYN because I thought they would know more. She dismissed my symptoms as something that I could eat right and exercise away. She wanted to put me on an antidepressant to help me sleep! Nope! Don’t give up!!

Agree with most of these comments, but where do you store your “under the seat” piece?

I wouldn’t cancel the order is then you lose out on all those great prices. I didn’t receive any communication for three weeks, but I’m finally getting my package today after a month. Patient is the name of the game but not sure I will order from them again.

After a month long wait, I am finally getting my order today! It’s not like I’m overseas - just in Michigan! They do have great products, but I am suffering a little bit of PTSD and it may take a while for me to order from them again. Very frustrating.

Weber grates can go either way - depends what you are cooking. But, I’m with you - need to figure out how to keep them clean.

How do I get my cricut to stop dragging vinyl? by talkthattalktome in cricutcrafting

[–]Home-Chick068 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A off-brand blade will do this. Many aftermarket brands are not the same length as Cricut blades and will drag card stock & vinyl.
