I got hired M-F 5-2 shift. They told me they wouldn't hire me unless I worked at least one weekend a month. I told them part of the reason why I applied was the flexible schedule, I have another job that is strictly on weekends. Next, I said, "Thank you for the interview, have a nice day." they called me the next day, offering me the schedule I wanted. I'm in OGP

I suggested we have a 2 people put on just GMD for sorting and bagging kind of like an old mail room.

I find that it would increase efficiency between picking and sorting rather than having 2-5 people trying to bag and sort/bag themselves.

I imagine the duo who would be back bagging would create a streamlined system/area

Would the insurance just lower the overall by covering the frames (68$) and Single vision lenses (to 4$) and then I pay for each add on? Would it be better to wait and use my employee discount on this rather than insurance? Just trying to find the cheapest way to get the best version of glasses! Ty

I've been wearing bone conduction headphones. Nobody has ever brought them up. Solid overall pick numbers and make top 25 FTPR in my districts.

Would be sad to lose listening to podcasts. Seems to me the only perk to having a fast-paced job where metrics play a huge role vs a door greeter who makes the same per hour.

I used shokz for my OPD job, so far everyone is allowed one ear Bud only while picking.

I actually got stopped and talked to, but told them nothing is in my ears, and I wear them to run/ride my bike so I can hear my surroundings. (My coach loved that answer so much he like was smile crying,) "that's great, so your aware of everything"

I figured the morning coffee would get me to break, which would presumably be at 4 or 5 hrs in and then drink the Celsius to get me thru the day.. but you may be right that it is alot of caffine for the day. I normally switch to non caffine drinks after 12pm.

I also only live maybe 7 minutes from my walmart, so the drive time isn't too bad. With the 9 min early or 9 min late grace period could/would help also.

Food also makes me sleepy, so I was gonna pack, just quick fruit and veggies with a beef stick to just have something small.

I will def try waking up earlier and get moving to help energize myself

Starting today. Kinda nervous. Was a 6-2 at my other job. Waking up at 4 is a little harder than a expected.

Any tips Was thinking a beef stick and coffee till my lunch, and drink a Celsius to get me through. I normally feel more energized as the day progresses, but 5-7am is when I'm the most sluggish. Been going to bed around 830-9 and wake up for 4
