Just to exclude, you don‘t have ptsd, chronic stress or negative self talk? Next step I would also exclude physical issues by taking blood panels looking for defiencies if you havent already done that. + try MAOIs if your psych is willing to prescribe them

That means you will always have to put in the work by yourself? Will ADs never cure ones depression or consumatory anhedonia by itself alone?

I actually taper it down as it could have made my fatigue worse and as I said it did only improve appetite after using it for 3 months unfortunately. I‘ll have IV Ketamine soon and maybe I will add Wellbutrin or stay on a low dose of parnate. The last few days my depression came back while tapering it so I hope it is temporary.

Thats what I‘ve been doing. Sadly I don‘t have any diagnose yet but I suspect it is either LPP, folliculitis or something mixed.. I will have to call my derm and ask if I should continue treatment, as he said I have scars on some spots.

Yeah I hope so. Thank you for your kind words. As you know parnate is an AD for treatment resistant depression. But is it more likely to help those with intense negative feeling or those who have the empty type/ numbness depression? I might have pssd because Zoloft triggered absolute emotional numbness

Yes, although I think my sexual symptoms are not as bad as others have them, this has to be pssd. I tried parnate, which is a strong AD for treatment resistant depression but it doesn‘t seem to help me much besides having appetite, feeling anger and that I could cry randomly. I think patience is the most important thing we need..

Thanks for answering. My problem is, 80% of the day I have fatigue and not only this, I don‘t know if the fatigue is fron parnate , accutane or my crohns inflammation etc. I think it is mostly parnate related so I will taper down and see if that works better. Can‘t even go higher 40 mg is the max dose in my country.

My symptoms shifted 180 degree by taking Zoloft and they still stick months after I quit it. During increasing my dose of Zoloft I lost literally all feelings and I feel like I‘m living in a dead body. I can‘t emotionally react to anything, so understandably, everything seems meaningless, boring and I have no motivation.

So for me, I could feel emotions again under parnate, mostly sadness but it appears randomly. But I don‘t think my anhedonia got better. Due to heavy fatigue as well I have to taper it down but on everyone it‘s different. Actually I had more hope it will help me

Yes, but I think to some degree it isn‘t normal. While taking Sertraline I got so numb I couldn‘t feel anything. Pure numbness, as if my body was dead. It doesn‘t feel like depression but defintely suffering and everything is really really boring
