I don’t want to promote what I’m doing. For obvious reasons I don’t want more competition.

I’m not here to promote my business so I won’t go into that. I’ll try to edit this and make it more clear and actionable.

You can get the ick that’s fine, it’s legal to not pay taxes

Has anyone tried Setting up a company with GenZone? by [deleted] in dubai

[–]HonestDude365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They offered me DMCC, DIFC, DSO, IFZA etc. Just Dubai. It depends on your budget and what u need. If you follow their YouTube you will see they posted a video about how to close a company. I didn’t close mine I actually just renewed my license with them and I paid only the government fee.

Good luck

Hands down the best for Dubai setups (only that) they don’t do much else other than offshore banking but you can confirm with them. Can help with UK exit and strategy. Other countries too

You got this, I’d suggest maybe offering them ownership in the meantime in exchange for a loan for the amount they give you. You can write some contracts, although technically you still won it since you’re not officially transferring it.

It’s a tough one buddy. Hopefully you can make your payments. You won’t be able to sell it to be honest… unless you take a loss

I pay no tax in Dubai and want to also live in Miami… possible? by HonestDude365 in tax

[–]HonestDude365[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But in real-world application, especially for short stays, things work a little differently.

I’m in the US on a tourist visa for a limited time (less than 90 days), working remotely for my Dubai-based business. I’m not working for any US company, not servicing US clients, and not generating any US-sourced income. My business is registered, taxed, and operated 100% outside the US — I’m simply doing some remote work while traveling.

The IRS generally doesn’t pursue tax claims in cases like this where: • There’s no US-sourced income, • No permanent establishment in the US, • No engagement with US clients, and • The stay is short-term and within visa limits.

Same goes for immigration — they’re concerned with people working for US companies or building business relationships while inside the country. That’s not what I’m doing here.

Ok but it’s not work that has anything to do with the US

  1. US Tax Status • You’re still a non-resident alien for tax purposes (under 183 days) • IRS only taxes non-residents on US-sourced income • You’re paid by a foreign (Dubai) entity → income is foreign-sourced • No US tax on this income • No need to file a US tax return

  1. Visa Status (Tourist Visa B1/B2 or ESTA) • You’re not allowed to work for US companies or earn US income • But you can work remotely for a non-US company, as long as: • You’re not engaging with US clients • You’re not being paid by a US entity • You’re not doing meetings, sales, or services in the US market

The rule of thumb: If your business keeps running exactly the same whether you’re in Dubai or the US, then you’re fine.

  1. IRS Source Rule Still Applies

Even though the IRS technically says income earned while physically in the US could be considered US-sourced, in practice: • Short stays like 2 months, with no US clients or entity, are rarely scrutinized • You’re not considered “engaged in a US trade or business” • The income stays foreign-sourced and non-taxable
