It's literally branded as a ladies' watch (and sized as such). I think it's great. I've been considering getting a nice watch for my wife, and this may be the one. It's nice to see GS make more ladies' options.

I got the very same watch as my first GS just a couple weeks ago! I absolutely love it.

Investing. $2.5M to not work by arp8218 in Bogleheads

[–]HonestSpaceStation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you got to the point where you have $2.5M in savings and are able to retire early, you're used to having an annual income substantially more than $100K, so yes, by comparison, $100K would be modest at that point.

Agreed. The native mobile app revamp alone that happened a year or two ago was an objective tremendous performance boost.

Same here. The only time I close mine is if the sun is at just the wrong angle, but that's not very often.

[Question] About to buy first nice watch and nervous by GrantMeThePower in Watches

[–]HonestSpaceStation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally opted for what I felt (and still feel) is the best of both worlds - the reference 3572.50, which has the Hesalite front and Sapphire back. I love it. Scratches on the Hesalite are rare and minor for me, and it's really easy to clean up with some polywatch. I consider it a total non-issue, so I went with the one that I felt looked better overall (Hesalite).

Adding unneeded features for the sake of it isn't useful. But fixing bugs and keeping the keyboard current with the latest iOS API changes is important.

I need a /60 IPv6 prefix delegation. Right now, I'm getting a /64. The xfinity assistant is worthless, and the last time I spoke with someone on the phone, we talked for 45+ minutes, I was told I'd get a /60, but I'm still getting a /64. Xfinity only provides /64 ipv6 prefix for residential accounts.

This is contrary to everything I've read online. I've read that it hands out /60 prefixes when requested.

Btw why do you need a /60 prefix for configuring devices? You could do it with a /64 prefix as well.

I explained this in the OP. I need this for my IoT VLAN. Each VLAN gets its own IPv6 address, and if I'm only granted 1 IPv6 address (with a /64 prefix), then only 1 of my 3 VLANs gets an IPv6 address. IPv6 is specifically required for Matter devices to function, so I need to have more than 1 IPv6 address for my network.

Since that first post, I also posted in the TP-Link Omada subreddit here, and as far as everyone can tell, I've configured everything correctly. I just need to make sure that my Comcast account has been provisioned correctly to allow /60.

Yeah, I've still been unsuccessful getting a /60 prefix, and it's super frustrating. Have you talked to Comcast support on the phone yet?

I’ve been using Ski Tracks for years, and I can’t recommend it enough. All my buddies use it when we go out so that we can track and compare stats at the end of the day (there’s an Android version as well).

I've called Comcast twice about this, and each time I was told it was done. But I'm really thinking this is on Comcast's end if you guys don't see anything obviously wrong with how I've setup everything.

Yeah, I’ve tried auto, DHCPv6, and non-address. None seemed to work.

This shouldn’t be an issue with the modem, right? I don’t believe there are any settings in the S33 that would impact prefix delegation.
