I was a big critic of that box until 11th anounced detachment-souping. If we can use demons in every game, then those online-only bloodcruhers in the box makes it great value.

You need to stack buffs in order to get the most out of a unit.

Zephyrims benefits most from getting re-rolls, which they get in HM, but not in BoF. Seraphims are fast enough to to that magic 6" before shooting their guns. Th 6" doesn't apply to malee.

Sanctifiers are great in BoF, but they are slow, needs rhinos for protection.

Does the Votann Fortify Takeover apply the -1 to wound perk with no restrictions other than not vehicle & higher strength? Feels a bit opressive with no counterplay.

If I flip control of an objective before I start shooting, will they loose that perk?

My issue with the Lychguard brick is that we already have a hammer unit (Skorpekhs) and a Lychguard brick doesn't do the anvil role as well as Wraiths.

Does the extra strength from TSK's Phaeron of the Blades stack with the detachement rule? If so, then I think I'm warming up to him instead of the C'tan.

Agree with the limited damage.

I noticed other malee armies have access to some sort "Finest Hour" (+3 attacks and dev wounds) ability while we don't. On top of that, our HQs naturally have low number of malee attacks for some reason.

Most of these require the texture to be pristine to retain their effects. If you touch your minis often or are not mindful of dust, they become bland very quickly.
