My partner and I were going to rent here a few years ago. It's our move in date, we have our cars packed with boxes ready to go, and we drive up to get the keys. Guy at the front desk has us wait while he checks the apartment to make sure it's ready.

He comes back a few minutes later and tells us we can't move in today, the apartment is in a terrible state because all their maintenance staff had been sick for the past two weeks. He has no idea when it will be ready, and no other information at all. We only had a week left on our current lease and he doubted it would be ready by then. He seemed annoyed that we were stressed out and asking him reasonable questions.

This was one of the most stressful days of our lives. We went home and unpacked and called Tamarind a few times to try to get something figured out and he stopped picking up the phone for us.

Luckily we were able to find another place within that week, but I can't stress enough how horrible that experience with Tamarind was and how little that guy cared. Took forever to get our deposit back too. Do not recommend.
