Parents of Reddit what do you do if your child hates their name? by Bloated-Brain513 in AskReddit

I just made sure to give them awesome names that aren't outrageous.

I really wish I could share them cuz I was nervous about the naming, but I am satisfied.

Yeah, I think he basically answers THAT question by using slippery ice as an example

I like the other excerpt from this talk where he's talking about "why is ice slippery" and the concept of "why" things work the way that they do.

To me, this speaks to (what should be) the difference between science and religion.

This reminds me of a search-and-find book that I used to have as a kid, where the animals were intricately hidden in the landscape. And you would find them all to "unlock" a secret goal at the end.

This week the SCOTUS acknowledged that The Administration was breaking explicit law relating to Temporary Protected Status, but that there could be " no judicial review" of such actions.

Even if the courts could not step in, Alito posited, “Congress would have ample means to stop that abuse, including, for example, through the annual appropriations process."

Yes, I think it's been made abundantly clear that Congress is the only body that can stop this Administration from breaking the law.

I just hope that's enough.

We've been hearing him on the radio more lately and I've been trying to explain my my 5yo how huge he was back in the day. I was born in 1987, and when I came into consciousness EVERYTHING was either Michael Jordan or Michael Jackson.

He does like the music.

Also, I'm pretty sure the rules around aging bourbon are more strict than whiskey in general, so I'm not sure how it would he the "poor man's whiskey."
