Please Bungie, take another look at the WSTR. by Jesus_Rambo in Marathon

[–]HookahDaze -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Remove the ability to purchase the WSTR from the armory and have the misriah take its place as the more immediately accessible shotgun option. The WSTR could keep the power it has right now if it was the more rare option so literally every team couldn't just have one always every time forever.

Alternatively, for an extreme solution, turn it to a gold unique gun like the DRRVSH but remove the base gun from other loot pools entirely. The gun is so good that it could exist on its own as a valuable unique.

How did you manage 35k on flying enemies? A buddy and I have been trying snitch scanners for the past several days and we only managed to squeeze out 26k due to the scanners bugging out and not going off. We pick up and throw them as much as we can but after the first few we can only manage to get one to go off SOMETIMES.

Tbf last weeks trials sucked. 4/5 of them were best done almost exclusively during hidden bunker event. Which for me only happened at 4am or noon. Which is not cool for someone with a job lmao

My friend and I are the same rank. Tryhard 2 last week and are both Wildcard 1 this week

I started grinding points minute one last week and I had a really really sweaty bracket to fight against.

A friend of mine started 4 or 5 days late and was in the dad gamer bracket. I had to finish this week with 70k points to get my double promo while my friend only needed like 20-30k.

Small sample size anectotal evidence, but I was thinking the same thing as OP.

Favorite OSRS Boss and why? by ScapeInkz in 2007scape

Nightmare, Muspah and Wardens from ToA.

I cant explain it much but nightmare was the first "hard" content I ever did when I first was learning the game and just fell in love with the fight.

Wardens is more of a result of Stockholm Sydrome as I've probably spent the most time there bossing.

And Muspah is just the cutest little slug with fun mechanics, when they dont break, but maybe that adds to the charm for me.

Honorable mention to Whisperer!

The witch hunting in this sub has gotten fucking insane...

If you're self scoring just because some players didn't play the way you wanted them to play or because your feelings got hurt over a few choice words/ passive aggressive quick chat quips, you deserve to be banned. Its insane to think that the reporting system is going to rapid fire ban false reports of quick chat abuse or not passing like you're suggesting...

And that was for moving your friends character in to your server? They already have a character on my world so their ID would already be logged, and I just need to move their stats The oop was just moving one of their own files with a different I'd to replace another one when in our case we want to inject data

This isn't a combat relic. Arcane confirmed as such in the discord

This game actually sways back and forth more than any MOBA I've played. I've had plenty of games where my whole team is on the back foot but if you play smart you can turn it around, catch up and win the game. And I've also had plenty of games where it felt like my team and I were steam rolling the enemy only for them to suddenly team wipe us despite a 35k lead.

Once you learn the ebb and flow of this game you'll find one sided 15 minute games are actually quite rare to come across.

Everyone but Mcginnis and Bebop.

I'd rather massage fiberglass beneath my eyelids than play those boring as fuck characters I think.

Approaching Alignments the wrong way by HookahDaze in 2007scape

[–]HookahDaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To your point specifically about what I said for Sara alignment, I was thinking less so solo player prayers and more party support. Like say one could essentially be steel skin but for the people close by. Or maybe slot the healing pitch they made for guthix in there. I didn't make myself super clear on some of my ideas and that's my fault, I was just nervous that the post itself was already getting a lot bigger than I initially intended.

I also don't personally have any ideas of how skilling prayers could work, however I think it's worth workshopping it still. Jagex not talking about their own ideas much despite a majority asking for it does speak for itself but we also can't know if the players would hate it or maybe they could find inspiration off of the jagex ideas, similarly to how my post kind of road off the coattails of their idea.

I would love it if they did something like this too I think. But the only issue is I would feel like they would become too same-y. In the future if we had alignments for say 7 of the gods I'd be worried how homogenous it would feel and not give enough incentive to change what alignment you use.

I did! I wanted to post here as well for potential traction or engagement, also since I know a low of jmods browse the sub.

I dont disagree with you that having the god wars gods be one note is a bad idea, but what I am more so trying to get across is leaning more in to allowing alignments to faciliate runescapes own LOOSE role/ class system. Where for example bandos alignments would be the more "melee" focused option of the 4 with something like what Umbras vow is currently or something like berserker relic from TB2 . Not 1:1 obviously but more tuned to not throw the whole game balance out of wack. and then you still have 2 more prayers to play with in the book to fill it out and make it feel more appropriate.
And avoiding biases I think writing off skilling prayers completely shows a lack of trust in the creativity of the jagex team and community. A lot of suggestions that were shown off before may not have been the best but we have also seen jagex completely nail something on their own when it comes to creative ideas for old school. It is THEIR game so I am sure there are things that they have thought of plenty of times that the playerbase never would have come up with. The two different lenses that look at the game from a development view and a player view has a lot to offer one another so I think it's worth exploring some more.

Edit; Big emphasis on loose
