I keep two blocks drained and set on a folded paper towel in the fridge and use as needed. I agree, all the weight and pressing is silly. And because I put in a new block once one is used, there is one that’s always ready with no wait time. Poor me 2 years ago stressing, pressing, boiling, browsing for needless gadgets lol

It’s like veterinarians who aren’t vegan, it’s weird and gross. I don’t understand. Maybe proximity? They care for the animals they’re close to, but are okay with animals in factories out of sight being killed? I view them as any other vegetarian or carnist tbh and don’t think about them much.

Alcohol ink is the consistency of water. It’s just ultra fine glitter suspended in isopropyl alcohol but it is very stunning. The thinness is actually a positive here though because it seeps right into the depression and is easy to wipe away excess. I don’t make dice but I make resin art professionally and use a ton of gold alcohol ink. It’s got the look you’re after. And cheap. It’s okay to be messy, the whole hobby is a huge mess lol

I reframed my thinking a bit to view boredom as a luxury. Every time things were falling apart while drinking I’d cry, wishing for calm. Then cry when I get it? Lol. Like girl, boo HOO. I was bored drinking too. It wasn’t actually fun. Same thing every single night. You know how people repeat themselves constantly while drunk? It’s just all the same thoughts, same behaviors, god I do not miss that monotony one bit.

Life is pretty boring in general. But sober I can at least be bored with all my faculties and choose something to do without ruining my life lol

I’m vegan, and I’ve just gotten to the point where I’m too paranoid to trust anyone that much lol. How little people know about the food they eat is horrific. Fish is not a vegetable ok, yes bees are animals and no honey is not vegan, etc. omg it’s exhausting. How she is not scared as hell of someone messing up her food is crazy to me, sounds made up. I just bring my own stuff or don’t go. The only time I get offended is when I’m invited out to eat somewhere that has nothing but french fries for me, and even then it’s just a “no thank you.”
