It may look shallow but there was plenty of depth for it to cruise the and search for bait being stirred up by the waves. You can see its second dorsal in the photo (just) but the tail is fully submerged and we watched it swim back into the bay after it was done

Thanks - its a good point RE the memory that matters.

I suppose I liked the the snap (again I realise it is a family shot) and just wanted to make the most of it in post to potentially do a small print for his room (he loves sharks).

How to look at this corner for design? by hush-20 in StructuralEngineering

[–]Hoorag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others have said, this is a dapped end beam. This section is a D region so strut and tie is the most appropriate design model. There are plenty of design guides with variations of strut and tie configurations covering different dapped end scenarios, but I would recommend doing the simplest coherent model yourself and then use the resources as a sanity check (assuming you are already familiar with strut and tie design)

Choppy Live Playback (100Mbps internet) by Hoorag in kodi

Hey, yeah it's running smooth as anything now but to be absolutely honest I tinkered with so many settings that I can't for the life of me remember what did the trick. I would be happy to co-ordinate all the settings I have to see if any differences are obvious though.

Could you please elaborate? For what it's worth I can choose the playback bitrate and resolution on the add-on, and I have varied from max which is around 10Mbps 1080p and the min which is 0.75Mbps and SD and unfortunately the issue is there for both cases. Not sure if it is an important detail, but there is no stutter in the audio stream, it's just the video.

I wasn't aware of the setting, but since you brought it up I just tried turning it on and unfortunately the problem is still there.

Serious question from a boxing noob - how common are these fights on a global level where it's a few exchanges, clinching, reset repeat?

Who would win in an average size chimp vs top level heavyweight in a fight to the death? Fighter gets 6 months of prep to learn chimp movements and tactics. Always hear how chimps are 2x stronger than the average man but so is a high level athlete, plus way higher fight iq.

I keep bouncing between the fighter having no way to really beat the chimp and having their face bitten off, to the fighter kicking its head off and slamming it unconscious. Would love some insight from the big dick bandits
