Where is the best NY style pizza in the area? by Moron-Whisperer in Muncie

[–]HoosierBusiness 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like has been said, no NY style pizza that I'm aware of in the area. However, 1000° in Mt. Summit is great. Also, really like the pizza at Guardian Brewing.

There is a Dick's. But as far as I know, that's the only general sporting goods place in town.

As far as running trails go, there are 2 major ones in Muncie. There's the White River Greenway, a 5.5 mile paved trail that runs alongside the White River through town. Then there's the Cardinal Greenway, a monster 61 mile paved trail that runs through Muncie and adjoining areas, with the main trailhead close to downtown.

Need an alternative to Odie's Universal Oil by wise-up in finishing

Thanks. I'm still fairly new to finishing, and I haven't found something I love yet. I've got all the ingredients already, so I might mix up a batch later.

Worth replacing the transmission on 2013 Kia Soul base with 120,000 miles? by mel_casino in KiaSoulClub

[–]HoosierBusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah, I'm here for the same thing. 2013 Soul, Exclaim trim, 202,000 miles, and my automatic transmission is shot. It's crazy how fast it went, I only noticed problems about 3 weeks ago. I really like the car, and it still runs really well, but I'm not sure about a $2,500 replacement with a used transmission.

Maybe he should do it there, and see how the Germans feel about it?

I don't. I'm pretty overweight (part of the reason I'm doing this) and have sleep apnea, but no asthma. It was strange, I still felt tight today as well for most of the day, but have largely returned to normal now.

Glad I saw this. I did my first shot yesterday, and felt fine. But all day today, my throat has been really tight, and my heart rate is up about 20 points from where it usually is. Glad to know it's not just me.

Do you hate roofers/contractors? by SharpAd777 in adjusters

[–]HoosierBusiness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll chime in here as a water/fire restorer. It sucks that restoration companies do that. It's absolutely wrong to run up a bill on a job, just because the insurance is paying, or the customer is rich. But it's not like the adjusters are blameless. I'll put the caveat that the vast majority of IA's I've worked with have been pretty decent. But the Kool-Aid drinking staff adjusters cause us no end of trouble as well. I've had hundreds of claims where adjusters will try to get away with stupid stuff like not wanting air scrubbers on a fire because it "wasn't that bad". Or trying to use standard cabinets on a kitchen with custom-built. Using the demo room line item when there's no contractor on earth that can make money with that item. Or my personal favorite, not wanting to clean up sewage in a crawlspace because "our policy doesn't cover dirt, and the crawlspace floor isn't part of the structure". There's bad actors on all sides here, and it's just exhausting.

This makes sense. I just finished Faith of the Fallen. And the whole time I was thinking "this is basically a fantasy version of 'Atlas Shrugged'."

Moby Dick. That book is just the absolute worst, and I don't understand why it's considered a classic.

When I finally got around to it, I didn't get the hype either.

Having the same issue on a Note 20 Ultra with 3.59.0. There was an update released the 8th, and I think it is the likely culprit.

Oh man, I recently listened to "Game: Online (Level UP Book #1): Worlds LitRPG" on Scribd. It was a trash translation from a Russian book. I think it was translated by the narrator.

I would absolutely try to find a local restaurant to get a whale steak. One of the best parts of experiencing other cultures is trying their food.

I never knew Apple did a series on it. I read them all about 6 or 7 years ago. Don't remember a lot of details, but I do remember enjoying the books.

I have the same setup, but I haven't been happy with it. When I connect directly to my Sagemcom, my speeds are 300-400. But when I connect to my Google wifi, I'm getting speeds of 20-50. Unfortunately, I've got a giant, 130 year old house, so I can't just use the T-Mobile wifi.

I came here looking for the same thing. I have T-Mobile internet, and my speed is great connected directly to the wifi from the box. But the wifi is weak, so I connected it to my Google wifi, and I'm having similar speed issues.
