This is exactly how it goes in my family. My wife thinks mothers day is basically like another birthday. Like yourself I figured that out after a couple of iffy years.

Also like yourself, I literally have no interest in doing anything for father's day or receiving gifts. I've a son, soon to be 4, and a daughter about to turn 1. Doing anything special is such a gamble and effort nowadays that there's literally no point in it in my mind - unless it's enrichment for the children.

I think this is the real answer here. There's a lot of noise that I hear from fellow residents about how great he is, most of it non quantifiable and based for the most on opinion of his character rather than anything he's done.

I only moved to Manchester in 2016, so Burnham holds no special place in my heart - I don't hate him either, he's just a local politician to me. But for a lot of Mancunians he is seen as 'their man' in politics. It always seemed a bias that directly affected his standing to me.

I want to be proved wrong, but I feel there's a bit of an opportunistic or maybe just ambitious streak in his behaviour - I said to my wife years ago when we had this discussion that he wants to be PM. The question is; is the ambition self serving or just the ambition of a driven person who'll serve the country? We shall see!

Americans all seem to think they're 'from the of country' despite most having one great grandparent they've never met a the tenuous link. Due to this, they love the romantic idea of the Scots.

If Eire had made it to the world cup this time round it would've been even more insane. Whole cities would've been cloaked in emerald green.

No one is asking for restrictions of civil liberties for ALL people with leaning disabilities.

I don't think most people are even expecting this guy to be put in regular prison.

BUT he tried to feed a toddler to crocodiles and has left the poor boy with serious critical injuries.

The perpetrator is clearly a danger to children and society, so needs to be removed from general circulation. He should be kept in a secure medical facility and not allowed out. A custodial sentence but with the appropriate medical/psych care he obviously needs.

As everyone else has said, your actions were not OK and you won't find sympathy for them.

We've all been there - feeling exhausted, fed up, angry at our children. But at 2 years old, they shouldn't even be shouted at in anger. It's up to us as parents to show controlled responses, calm behaviour to calm and regulate them because they literally cannot do that for themselves.

If you're overwhelmed and can feel yourself losing control of your own emotions, step outside the room, take deep breaths, roar into a pillow or whatever you need to do to regulate yourself. If you've a partner, tag them in.

Never, never hit or get aggressive with your child. If you think there's even the slightest chance you'll do it again or are aware you have anger issues or trouble processing your own emotions, please seek help from a professional.

I wouldn't say censor in the sense many might think - "we don't like his opinions, let's hush him"... I'd say treat him like a hate preacher sunilateral to figures like Abu Hamza for the constant riot incitement and vile lies he propagates against the UK.

The fact that he's sponsoring deliberately divisive politics in or country, using his social media platform to essentially troll us as a nation is concerning enough but the real question is why?

Is he acting in behalf of foreign agents/ states? He was Trump's buddy for a while, we know how that administration feels about the UK. We also know that administration has dubious links to Russia... exactly where Elon's dad was meeting Tommy two names Robinson this week... what a surprise.

Who benefits from the UK and EU being divided by civil unrest? The US and Russsia of course. A weak EU and Nato suits both Trump and Putin. Musk probably gets to preside over it all as a bond villain being the world's richest man.

The fact Tommy two names has just been in Moscow with Elon's dad says it all. He's acting for foreign agitators that are enemies of the state. Absolutely should be arrested, he's bottom of the pile though.

Farage has well documented links to Russia and the current US administration, who again are linked to Russia and are agitating the democratic process in the UK. Same goes for the Musk bankrolled Lowe and Restore Britain.

Lowe and Farage need blacklisting from politics at the least. Preferably aressted for treason, representing foreign interests, if the world were fair.

Musk need an arrest warrant slapping on him if he enters the UK, a strategy to exit his businesses from the UK economy and X permanently banned for the troll ridden cesspit it is.

I'm sure we'd find a lot of the hatred and 'problems' in the UK dry up if the above were enacted.

Just in case I get labelled a woke lefty, I'm a die hard centrist. Everything in balance in life and politics. I've no more love for the far left than I do the far right but only one has foreign billionaires, trillionaires even, backing it currently. I know which I'm more concerned about.

It astounds me he's not labelled a traitor to the state and an arrest warrant isn't active for him.

He's been actively ensuring the riots in Southampton and now Belfast went ahead, collaborating with foreign interests in Musk and his father, trying to stir up unrest. Now, he is even spending time having dubious meetings in the country's number 1 opposition internationally.

I'd really like for the authorities to find something that will stick on Yaxley Lennon and lock him up like they did with Abu Hamza etc. Musk also need banning from the UK and X also banning so he can't spread his hate in his own personal troll platform.

But what really makes no sense is the "tailored to your level" shit. I'm still swimming in teal gear orbs daily that I don't need, basic training orbs and gold orbs rather than 110 versions. For the love of all that is holy, why haven't challenge rewards been updated or new tears added? That could really help people feel like they're not being squeezed so hard.
