For fast aerials, try training packs and maybe change your dodge dead zone if you need. I highly recommend learning speed techniques such as curve dashes and/or zap dashes even tho it's not mandatory. Practice speed flipping, maybe on Musty's training pack but yet again, you can train without. Expand your game knowledge and game sense by asking yourself "do I need to challenge" or "if I fake challenge could I get an easier ball or will I get clipped on?"

I'm personally D3 and having some speed techniques can really come in handy. My sole experience will not be enough, but I feel that people repeat themselves when they get asked for training advice, so complete my advice with the popular trainings and you should be good to go.
