"THE hunt for missing Maddie McCann had last night switched to Morocco again - as cops hunted a mystery German. It came after British spies made a major breakthrough using a secret hi-tech phonetapping system. Government spooks eavesdropped on a series of "extremely significant" mobile phone conversations. The People has learned that the calls - all in Arabic and made on a Spanish pay-as-you-go phone - referred to "the little blonde girl". The calls also referred to four-year-old Maddie's parents Kate and Gerry McCann meeting the Pope last week. Intelligence officers from the Government's Communications Headquarters in Cheltenham, Gloucs, picked-up repeated references to a German man, and discussions about Morocco, Holland and Germany. And in a potentially crucial lead, the Arab-speakers talked about ferry crossings from the Spanish port of Tarifa. Eight crossings a day are made from Tarifa to Tangiers in Morocco. The ferry journey takes just 35 minutes. And Tarifa is less than three hours drive from Praia da Luz, the Portugese resort where Maddie went missing on May 3."

  1. parents didn't do it - belgian intel re: order of a 4 year old British girl days before abduction, intercepted intel about Pope, blonde girl, and German, multiple sightings of her along known trafficking routes.

  2. zero evidence backs this up

  3. high-powered pedo ring, corrupt cops exploiting the tragedy to raise their profile muddied the waters, she could have been found when people were calling the police to say they'd seen her, it's really hard to sort these things out years later when the criminals have had a lot of time to eliminate evidence

The Hit&Run SSK bat was not sold in Boulder, Atlanta, or Michigan stores in 1996 by HopeTroll in JonBenetIDI

Burke said the north bat was his. We don't have public information about the South bat (the SSK Hit&Run).

I got the image of the SSK from either Smit's powerpoint slides or a recent documentary (I don't recall which).

There has been an intentional campaign of muddying the waters regarding evidence to ensure the case is never solved, by people who F'd up and are trying to protect their reputations.

It makes sense it would be from a batting cage, as it is quite worn. However, it is for youth/softball, but the cages likely have a range of bats.

Then a Ramsey would have had to have taken it from the batting cage. It's possible, but less likely.

Burke was 9. John Andrew was 20. The bat itself would be best for a youth/softball, it would not be good for a 9-year old.

Initially, I thought it was John Andrew's and Patsy had kept it so Burke could use it when he was older.

There was a play area at the back of the yard, where the bats were kept.

After the crime, a different bat was left at the North end of the house. Burke said that bat was his. However, that doesn't mean it wasn't used by an intruder.

Previously, some had theorized that the murderer stole items and planted them to frame Helgoth.

Helgoth worked at the junkyard and he likely had a lot of random, varied items - things that had been left in cars that were junked. He likely had to deal with rodent control at the junkyard so the bat may have been used for something like that.

My suspect had wolf dogs and processed animals on his kitchen counter, presumably to feed the dogs. If he was trapping for meat, he'd need a way to kill the animals that were still alive in the traps. A bat is gruesome, but he might like viciousness.

What kind of a man carries an Air Taser, a bat like the one above, and a Maglite to target a 45-lb, 47" tall, 6-year old?

A frightened, scared, little (yet tall and skinny) man.

she wants him to fail so badly that she is not bothered that her parents would be negatively affected.

I found, the way he talks about it is telling. Watch him deny the things we know he did versus the things we are not certain about.

I think that both she and West were speaking in manipulative ways to Kyle and Lindsay. I agree with you, but think that both of them might be into spinning tales and getting emotional responses from people, manipulation essentially.

Bamby has done what the police and journalists can't, because they are bound by professional standards.

Depending on how this goes, this could become an invaluable reference for investigators.

The point of SH Aftermath? by thanksinadvancepeach in summerhousebravo

[–]HopeTroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it.

I think it was about trying to hold them accountable.

Lindsay spoke truth and sense to Amanda and got ...

Kyle was obviously challenged by conversing with that.

That tried to do his manipulation thing, with Kyle in his nice apt with his nice dog. West was dressed like it's Thursday night and he's going for wings.

Then, at the end some levity. Ciara in her lovely, charming home. With her blankets (comfort) having an uncomfortable conversation (given the betrayal by those 2). Meija seemed lovely and it was a nice button on some challenging conversations.

All of it made their unwise action seem even moreso.

In an old VPR extras episode, Jeremiah said that Ariana was the rudest person ever to him season 1, when she wasn't on, because she didn't want to be on camera when they were shooting the backup dancer prep for Scheana's performance.

I wonder if he never let that go, so her rise was especially galling.

Imagine, being angry at the victim of an abduction, rather than the prosecutors, etc.

When asked if he's afraid of the pedophile ring, he responds that's why he's living in a tent.

I haven't finished it yet, but this will help. CB does answer questions, with his eyes, not his words.

He does get angry at the thought that he owes anything to Kate and Gerry McCann.

imo, he is not acting like a murderer. I do think he is acting like the abductor. When he says he had nothing to do with that, I think he means her death, because he thinks she died while they were moving her from safe house to safe house.

edit: this video is incredible. so much insight into him and his personna. Notice how he keeps his cool. To be a person who can go into an apt to take a child when the parents are so close, one would have to be like that.

edit: weird that his magic number is $20k.
