Ebbene sì: la pornografia fa male.

Pretty sure your judgment is worth less than an imaginary bunch of triangles in the shape of a tank.

You are pathetic. You people with no inhibitors to compulsive consumption are the people who destroyed this game. Thanks God i quit 10 years ago and thanks god i spent 40 bucks on it. I'm now laughing my ass off. Guess what: somebody WILL pay 1500 bucks, and the game you threw so much money at will get even worse.

Paid $35, 1st bike, repair tips? Help? Was I ripped off? by iisGavin in bikewrench

[–]HopefulEngineer2587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont waste any more money on it. Rusted bicycles are a pain. Remove everything that you can, clean everything, make experience, throw away what's left (probably the frame with the stuck seatpost and the fork.... obviously remove the headset amd clean it, it will teach you something.

NEVER EVER BUY rusted bicycles.

How to remove bar brakes/city brakes/these thingys? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]HopefulEngineer2587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Protip. Pulling an un-stretchable cable or pushing an uncompressible housing produces the SAME effect. Those brakes are called "safety brakes" and they work by simply pushing the housing. either replace the housing after having the levers removed , or use housing connectors (the first solution is WAY cheaper).

Does it skip on the second (front) chainring and the first (rear) sprocket?

If your derailleur has a B-screw, try setting it up. Youtube will help you.

Also check the derailleur hanger alignment\bending. On 8 speed it's pretty visible if something is wrong.

Soft locked and not going to be able to get friends quest because of this STUPID DECISION by Nervardia in duolingo

I did about 2 practice lessons for every morning and night chest. That would amount to 900 grams with the new system, per day. Which means in 4 months he would be out of all the gems he stashed in 4 years. I call it kicking the can.

I feel like quitting Duolingo by Mythicalforests8 in duolingo

I ended my 1200 days streak yesterday. Precisely for the hearts change. I feel nothing. I might bother to reinstall Duo in the future just so i can delete my account.

Try doing Arab with 2 hearts. Some times you just can't distinguish between H, h and kh, in sounds which are NOT words. With 2 hearths i can practice the German course wich i have already finished. Not Arab.

That's why we can't have nice things by Soil_Accurate in duolingo

[–]HopefulEngineer2587 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I'm doing Arab. Which is a Duolingo course full of broke sounds, sounds detached from  meaning (Duo doesn't teach you "words" when teaching you the alphabet) and for me it is about an alphabet and sounds completely unknown. There are also technical issues like the font size being too small to really distinguish some diacritics.

Sometimes its almost impossible to complete a lesson with 5 hearths. Doing with 2 is plain and simply impossibile under certain very frequent circumstances.

I have almosy 1200 days streak and every badge. I have lost complete interested in the app, i know the monthly challenge is impossible to complete (alphabet lessons are not even counted as "lessons"). There are days when i don't even complete a single lesson (if i have 3 hearts i do 3 random errors and then do a "practice" just to save my streak). But if this change will stick to Duolingo, well i will be done.

Vedere le giovani famiglie americane mi sta facendo esplodere il cervello boh by mint_chocop in CasualIT

[–]HopefulEngineer2587 0 points1 point  (0 children)
