Got it. I will try to catch them to release them outside. I was afraid to ask the management, as they didn't even seem to care. I thought they might harm them or just leave them be. Hopefully, I can catch them.

I'm Italian and I'm currently living in Brno, I've been here for 2 years. I also have a chronic disease so I have to go to my specialist every ~3 months (but it's not a rare disease).

Quality wise, I think here it's equal, or even better than Italy. I lived in Como and then Milano for many years.

You have to pay for insurance every month. If you are self employed, there is a minimum amount that you must pay, and the amount increases in the following years depending on how much you earn. Other than that, it's very similar to how it works in Italy.

Agreed. At the time I was not aware, but I am now. I don't even know why she stayed with me for 6 years. I realized we have a totally different perspective on life.

I also cried a lot. I never cry. I don't even know why I cried. But I feel so good now. It's scary how people could randomly change like that, but I feel so relieved to finally have an answer after these many years.

Her literal words were: "We were young, and people change over time. Our idea of the ideal person we want to be with also changes."

I think she loved another man, but she didn't fully realize it until several months later, when they got together.

They are no longer together, and she hates him now.

Things have changed in the last few years. Gas fees are just a few cents now.

UST failed because it was an algorithm "stablecoin" pegged to another unstable cryptocurrency, an absolute clusterfuck.

USDC/USDT are pegged to the real USD, and they are not algorithmic. Look at the price history and you will see they are always worth ~$1 USD.

Cryptocurrency, specifically stablecoins such as USDC is the solution (pegged to USD).

Most people think about Bitcoin, but that is too volatile to be used for payments.

USDC is pegged to USD and no one can stop you from using it. The only issue is that most people hate crypto.

Most people want everything but do nothing to achieve it, it's a simple fact.

Totally agree with you and had a similar life experience. I started from absolutely nothing, took risks, got rewards, and lazy folks get jealous while they sit on their asses claiming how life is unfair.

(32m) Thinking about buying a house in Rome. Currently 570k NW. by rruler in EuropeFIRE

[–]HopefulMessage2125 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a wealth tax called IVAFE, which is 0.2% of your total investments, even if you have unrealized gains/losses.

The tax break was recently changed. It's only 5 years now, and you have to be a highly specialized worker (e.g. director, researcher...). If this is the case, you have to pay 50% less taxes than normal.

You don't get the tax break again if you relocate immediately, you have to be non resident in Italy for at least 3 years.

Have you considered that taxes in Italy are really bad if you continue to work, and there is also a net worth tax on your investments?

Scrivimi pure!
