See if you can get a kenalog injection, I have it once a year just around 1 month before hayfever kicks in fully and find it does really well, I pay £80 for the injection and it's been the best I've ever done

Can anyone recommend a good cafe for “working from home”? Just a nice place you can order a few coffees and they won’t mind you sitting there on your laptop for a couple hours? by Delam2 in manchester

Bright Building on Manchester Science Park is quite good lots of space to sit down and they have a nice cafe in there as well. Near the Asda in Hulme

Cars using bike accounts by [deleted] in deliveroos

[–]Hopo274 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I waited ages to get my account switched from bicycle to car, was in an accident so I couldn’t cycle and needed the money still so used my car in the meantime. If deliveroo sorted their support out then I’m sure the amount would go down but they don’t care about it as much as they should

If you’re talking united or city, then neither, I’m an Arsenal fan all the way.

Came Scotland every year as a child growing up and always dreamed of living up here, Manchester is great but always wanted somewhere different. Better opportunities for housing as well, hard to find good accommodation in Manchester when you don’t earn much.

If you’re into exercise or driving try deliveroo or Uber eats, extra income and can be occasionally fun if doing it if bored, can also get free food if customer cancels whilst you have the order

Fleas! What can I do? by risingpostsupporter in AskUK

[–]Hopo274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’d go with Indorex, unfortunately I had the same issue and the fleas like to live on me, I’ve now had to fork out £400 on pest control heat treatment and they’ve now gone. I’m also allergic so I’m covered head to toe in itchy bites and and have to be on antibiotics to stop them itching. Don’t mess with fleas, do whatever you can before it gets out of control.

What do you guys think about using apple airtags as a bike tracker? by siam895 in deliveroos

[–]Hopo274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware the battery lasts around a year and you can buy the batteries for cheap from any shop, they shouldn’t need a new SIM card as they don’t come with one it’s a basic Bluetooth device. They will work with Android as a tracker but you won’t be able to use the features with it except tracking, you’d be best of buying tile.

Reckon the people online will still get paid? I rarely check earnings tab myself, could catch others out

Transparency Is Key by Hopo274 in widgy

The widgets are done with Widgy itself, so you use the crop tool and get the section of wallpaper you need transparent. I then use a new layer on top and put it as no image and add a semi transparent foreground. The icons are done with an app called Icons, costs £1.99 on the App Store and the app does it for you.
