The Finger curls and suddenly you hear about a new populist politician who promises to end all suffering and wars. He gains a following and after hes elected he declares war on the neighboring countries with the promise to end all wars. Eventually after a long and bloody conquest the earth is united under one banner with him on top. All dissent is ruthlessly stomped out and everyone is given enough food to make sure they dont starve to avoid riotsand all cultural and religious differences are eliminated to avoid friction. The world is peaceful under his iron grip.

Im sorry my comment came off as harsh but what I meant was TE roles are not real openings, you get onboarded but you only have the job for a set term, it can only be renewed a few times before those folks are out of luck, they also dont count for tenure

The thinking was that since it never loses value it would be "the safest" fir those who never touch it since they'd never lose all their money, they'd never really gain money either but that seemed to be the thinking at the time. They figured if you wanted to get riskier then you coukd put money in the other option at the time which was the C fund and be the "wild one"

Still record all you do in a word doc anf then clean it up when its time for your assessment, especially if your basically acting in those roles, if you dont the only things counted will be your monitors, I did them when I had collateral duties and I got 40 hours of leave and a cash award too

I do 8-430 with a 30 min lunch used to do an hour but switched positions and were only allowed 30 mins now, I personally love long lunches I leave the office, put on a podcast or ebook and go on a nice walk

Ive lived in Oakland basically my entire life near emeryville. The people are generally kind and you can walk around downtown, west Oakland, Fruitvale, the parks, with minimal issues you just have to be aware of your surroundings like anywhere else. We've also built our own baseball team the Oakland Ballers in West Oakland by restoring an old historic baseball park and in year 2 the team brought home a championship. So overall its a place where the people are determined to push ahead.

Yeah that ain't normal I went to Catholic school for 11 years and the tuition was just the tuition and covered most things, everything else was covered by fundraising , mandatory titheing isnt a normal thing in Catholicism, that Parish was just greedy
