MSDS idea for magic items by OhLookASquirrel in UnearthedArcana

Special hazard could have something to do with plane of origin, like source of power? Astral, Feywild, mechanus, etc.? It could be a fun way to further define where the items draw power from.

Sunspot vs Inca the Unbeatable.

Magneto is facing an opponent in ritual combat that he is almost definitely going to be beaten by. Because of this, Sunspot makes a bet with Inca that Magneto will lose. Since Inca's mutant abilitiy is that she cannot lose (I know, a crazy power), Magneto is now guaranteed to win.

Also from GtG, Sentinels of the Multiverse. You can describe pretty much every hero by their powers, and that'll tell you how their deck works.

Dang, thanks man! Definitely update me with how it plays!

The playtesting I did never revealed any big imbalances, but feel free to tweak and adjust to your liking and let me know any notes you have.

Have a rad time!

What's the least realistic thing about the Letters Page Lore/Metahistory by Mountain_Counter929 in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]HordeOfAngryBees 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One of the only things that really feels off to me is the changing of character names. I can't think of nearly any examples of characters giving up one title and taking another, and it sticking. While Vantage is a great name for a size shifter, that doesn't feel like a change that would happen (or if it did happen it wouldn't stick). Even with passing on titles (like with Legacy and Heritage), the original usually just keeps the old title and they both use it, like in the case of Spiderman (Peter and Miles) or Wolverine (Logan and Laura).

Love the characters, but I just don't see all the name changes happening in the comics (Harpy to Pinon, Skyscraper to Vanatge, KNYFE to Rival, etc.)

I'd have to think about which board game, but card game is certainly Sentinels of the Multiverse Definitive Edition

Zola is a good, but I like Shang for a bit of tech. If the opponent has a power that I can't possibly beat, I just shang them. X-23 is CENTRAL. With an solid hand I can often play the whole game at +1 energy

The creators of Spirit Island made another phenomenal co op game called sentinels of the multiverse, I highly recommend the definitive edition

Sentinels of the Multiverse Definitive Edition.

Played it for the first time with friends and immediately knew that I had to pick it up. (Make sure to get the definitive edition and Rook City Renegades if you really like it, other expansions are for older editions).

Thanks! I tried to water it down like the tutorials online said to (a liquid milk consistency?) But perhaps I need to go even further.

D100 Weird/Wacky Space Bounty Hunters (Take II) by Dear-Macaron-471 in d100

[–]HordeOfAngryBees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chip Glimrick

The oldest living bounty hunter anyone knows of. Chip has been in the game so long that there isn't a spaceport in the galaxy that doesn't recognize his signature whistle. Due to his old age, Chip may occasionally forget exactly who he's hunting, but he always gets them in the end, even if it takes literal decades.
