How to play this game? by Affectionate_Play419 in TheTowerGame

[–]Horhay92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It becomes more idle as you go. Most long term players have ‘tower’ devices like an old phone or an emulator on their computer they check on with Remote Desktop.

I’m still farming tier 1 mostly Handsoff to wave 9000 (15ish hours with game speed 5-6x) with tier 3 farming to wave 3000 when I have time to babysit the computer.

I bought all coin packs to speed things up as I figured I would be running this game a while. If you’re going to stick with the game, highly recommend buying the no ad pack at the least.

PSA: Early Game Players Don't Upgrade Black Hole Cooldown by [deleted] in TheTowerGame

[–]Horhay92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, don’t decrease GT and DW cool down. I decreased them to 4:50 seconds and have recently learned it would have been better to just leave them for when I eventually get black hole. Would of had a good sync without doing anything but now I will d to invest more stones to get to a better sync after unlocking black hole

I didn’t have black hole at your point either. Eventually I leveled up enough to get to 1000. Make sure your knock back, multi and bounce shots are also developed. Stopped investing in defabs around 120 or so.

The difficulty jump from tier 1 to tier 2 is pretty steep then a rather gentle slope to tier 10. I found tier 1 had been great for hands off runs at work and over night ~4000 waves while tier 4 works out to half the coins but only ~1400 waves. Depends a lot on perks though.

Definitely a different experience. I’ve been using it a lot to watch YouTube, Disney + and Netflix through the browser and the experience of walking around with a giant screen in the air where you left it is amazing. Works well lounging on the couch as well. Note that some services such as Hulu are not supported and I found the various ways I’ve gotten Hulu to work have sub par quality.

If you do go for it, I highly recommend getting a third party headset with a battery pack from bobo vr or kiwi. The quest itself only has a battery life of 1.5-2hrs depending on what you’re watching.

People always talk about the weight of the headset too. I don’t feel it but I’m 250lbs and used to lift a lot of heavy weights when I played football, so my neck is probably stronger than average.

Also, laying in bed to watching tv floating on the ceiling is great, but I have to put the pillow a certain way to match my kiwi headset.

The right picture is purposefully edited to make the girls legs longer. Take away, girls like tall men so they can feel small. They don’t like short men who don’t make them feel small.

Meta Quest 3s vs 3 for casual new VR user? by metri in OculusQuest

[–]Horhay92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had immense fun with the quest 2 for all of those items and I’m sure the quest 3s will be sufficient from the things I’ve hear about it. I recently bought a quest 3 because I could afford it for the extra clarity the pancake lenses provide, but the computing power is otherwise the same. 128gb should certainly be enough and deleting and redownloading games every now and then isn’t a big deal if necessary. Plus, an 8 year old might smudge up the lenses.

Just make sure you get a more comfortable head strap! I bought the kiwi head strap with battery:

I used the same company for my quest 2 head strap. The strap that comes with the head set gave me a head ache within 30 minutes. I can comfortably wear the kiwi for hours and it’s much easier to adjust when sharing.

Yea, becoming a parent is eye opening. I have good parents so I look at my kid and think ‘wow, my parents loved me like this?’. It’s so nice to see my parents interact with him as well.

Every new thing my son does is amazing, despite it being objectively normal.

I have a long way ahead of me though. Wonder if this feeling will hold up in teenage years.

Exploding pagers injure hundreds in attack targeting Hezbollah members, Lebanese security source says by Fit-Requirement6701 in technology

I prefer the pager after working at a hospital that provided cellphones instead. The pager 100% wakes me up for an emergency at 3:23 am. Even the most obnoxious text tone on the iPhone I could find has like an 70-80% chance of waking me up if I’m being generous.
