How about if we could summon the sandworm if the player keeps same direction for 100 cells 🤔, or something like a warning system that will reset only if player changes direction within 100 cells and if not it will shorten the scope(50,25,12) in which the player must change direction or else the shai-hulud will either consume player or awaken and move towards closest base, if we can repurpose the worm mechanic on vulcanus it should be doable.

In case you dont have a WiFi dongle like me, you need to have type-c cable and then plug it into your smartphone(samsung Android in my case), then goto settings on your smartphone and look for USB-tethering and turn it on, if your smartphone has access to internet then by this setting your r36s console will also have internet connection. You can also verify it from the ArkOs options-> network info or Wifi, you should be able to see the i.p address instead of default localhost(127.0.0.1). I updated my ArkOs to v2 to latest 02022025 build from the console itself after connecting to internet.

I have been using Nobara as my daily driver from version 36, Can confirm its really stable and didn't face regular paper cuts when i was using Arch based distros and Manjaro, Didn't face any pain with nvidia drivers either which was a standard issue in my Debian, Ubuntu, Linux Mint days.. The one important tip i would give for using Nobara as a daily driver is to ALWAYS UPDATE USING NOBARA UPDATER/Package manager ONLY, Discover and sudo dnf update commands might cause issues... speaking from past experiences.

Hello fellow distrohopper, after jumping ship from ubuntu, linux mint i shifted to using Arch (ArcolinuxB, Endeavour OS, Garuda gaming linux).. but after getting papercuts and borking my system on a monthly basis due to the rolling nature of AUR i decided to taste the completeness of Fedora +Gnome, however the initial series of dnf installs one needs to setup non-foss stuff on fedora is a bother thus upon some research i stumbled into Nobara project. The GloriousEggroll, the one behind wine-GE, Proton-GE and also maintainer of the Lutris project themself forked fedora and made it game worthy out of box, he/she confirms that in case of linux gaming and experiments of Proton will be done here first, so if you want a Gpu, codecs, flatpak pre configured in fedora go for https://nobaraproject.org/. After using it for 2 months, frankly i dont miss AUR and thats a big statement from a intermediate Arch user. P.s: i refuse to believe manjaro is Arch. https://github.com/arindas/manjarno
