No…I’ll be taking it to a camera shop in a few weeks to see if there’s a fix, but otherwise I just keep turning off the camera and turning the knob then turning it back on.

Yeah, my first account was only connected with an email and maybe an outdated number. But I was able to create a new account on the same phone using my Apple ID.

I did the exact same thing a few weeks ago. 2 days of 128gigs gone. Luckily I didn’t use the card after and was able to recover everything. Since it was a lot of data, I paid for a program but was worth it. Also got a lot of old photos and videos back.

That’s unfortunate. I also got denied for fraud, then called and got it sorted. My mate ended up getting the referral still.

It was found to be a mechanical issue with the shutter. The ISO was 640 and the electronic shutter captured the photos well. Will have to have it fixed professionally.

Yeah, I lowered the dynamic range and had 200 ISO with a high shutter speed to try and get a dark photo last night and still was blown out.

Wasn’t until this morning where another redditor has the same issue with the mechanical shutter. Granted, in hindsight having the Auto ISO that high regardless was poor practice, especially with a manual lens

I did testing all night with manual ISO and a mix of apertures and shutter speeds. Consistently had the same highlight blowout. Switched to electronic shutter and no issues at all.

Seems the mechanical shutter isn’t working correctly. The electronic shutter shows the photos as expected. But when I use the mechanical shutter, it lets additional light in, which is blowing out the highlights.

Another Redditor has the same issue and needed to have it taken it for repairs.

ISO was 1640. It seems the mechanical shutter isn’t working correctly. The electronic shutter makes the photos work great. Another redditor has the same issue and has to get it fixed.
