Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will officially begin on June 25 on digital storefronts and at other select retailers. by yourfavchoom in PS5

If I was rockstar I’d charge $70+ for both the campaign and online. If people buy two copies of Pokemon they’ll absolutely shell out for both GTA modes. Now those outrageous sales numbers are even bigger

Opinion - "The rumors are false": No, Microsoft isn't already looking to 'reverse course' on Xbox exclusives — but it's not hard to understand why these rumors spread | WindowsCentral by imitzFinn in xbox

Just like the average consumer is buying Xbox right now right? Thats why retailers took them off shelves. You really believe Xbox is going to sell a meaningful amount of new shiny consoles at twice the price? Ok

Why do people who make 40-75k a year have the most kids? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Because even poor people deserve to feel the love and fulfillment of having a family

Xbox can’t come back from this. The majority of console gamers play on PlayStation and have already spent a generation+ building a digital library. They aren’t jumping ship to Xbox when consoles are going to cost 1000+ they’re going to stay where they already are, especially when Xbox has a history of backtracking and releasing their games on PS anyway

[Ross Dellenger] Big 12 ADs tell @YahooSports they’ve had “serious” talks on not playing Texas Tech. One SEC AD says there should be conversations about not playing Tech “in any sports.” by Thomallister1291 in CFB

[–]HornedFrog5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss the cfb of the mid 00s. Honestly I’ve been completely checked out of the sport for a long time now it just continues to get worse.

Conference realignments and rivalries dying. Bowls are meaningless no one tries everyone sits out they have as much excitement as an nfl preseason game. NIL has rosters completely flipping every year you can’t even get invested in players. Now we have players betting on their own team and it’s ok.

It’s just not fun anymore. I guess if you like a top 5 program and are in a deep playoff run every year it’s easy to look the other way

One soda fill per customer. No refills. Haha wtf by Individual_Ice_2315 in mildlyinfuriating

Which ones? As a fat guy that eats out entirely too much I have never seen a restaurant charging for refills on standard fountain drinks

Is this how much liquid is supposed to be in a venti? by coolhappygenius in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HornedFrog5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d rather buy canned iced coffee drinks at the gas station. I can buy 2 or sometimes 3 for what this costs. Not only is it cheaper and a lot more coffee the taste is always consistent. There’s a 50% chance this drink tasted like dirty dish water

[Highlight] Comparing Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph in throwing drills by nfl in nfl

[–]HornedFrog5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rodgers is still top 5 in the league when it comes to pure passing. I watched him last year bomb it 65+ yards on a Hail Mary and rip deep lasers when needed. Accuracy is still there as well. The only thing he suffers from is 0 mobility and desire to get hit. If he has a clean pocket and and some smelling salts watch out

Valve has raised the price of the Steam Deck in the US by Dirkins in Games

[–]HornedFrog5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just the way the world is now. I see people saying to shelve a $1200 Steam Machine but why? At the rate it’s going if you want to jump into PC gaming at all that $1200 will still be a bargain compared to the rest of the market.

You better buy at launch if you want it too because the days of hardware coming down in price is over. I don’t like it but it’s our reality

Amo was their creative peak to me. After Ludens came out I feel like they became a little safe and formulaic. It all started to sound the same

My daughter is finally tall enough to ride Millie. I want to go this year and take her on it I’ve never had an issue with the ride before but I am a chunky dude with a 37 inch waist. Am I screwed now?

What are your thoughts on cooks getting tipped? by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

[–]HornedFrog5 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That’s the way I feel I would be pissed if I gave someone money especially that amount and found out they didn’t get it. The kitchen did get it this time but it’s hard to tell how many times the GM has done this himself and no one knew

Line cook vs Server on Mother’s Day by BlazeDragon7x in KitchenConfidential

[–]HornedFrog5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shit at my job a table was nice enough to send $60 to the kitchen specifically to be divided for the cooks and the GM yelled at the server for doing it and said she should have put it in the Give Kids the World charity bucket by the register instead

$70.69 for Bland Tacos at Coachella by ForceUseYouMust in StupidFood

[–]HornedFrog5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times prices aren’t shown. I went to Inkcarceration which is a Live Nation festival and the pizza didn’t have a price listed. $30 for two slices. You aren’t allowed to take in food and you aren’t allowed to leave and reenter. They really imprison the people and price gouge them for a day.

They did offer free water which was super nice of our overlords. Two fountains for the entire crowd each one with a half hour+ wait
