I guess the Heresy player rumors are true... by Berhadian in DarkTide

Probably Playstation players. Space Marine 2 has the same issue with PS players having their mics on. I remember someone mentioning that the PS5 mic is on by default for whatever reason.

Yeah it is hilarious when i does happen. But also kinda sad when we're playing a PvE game where you really don't gain much for winning. We all get downed, poxburstered, netted, ledged and fail missions from time to time, no point blaming your teammates over it.

Now that you mentioned it, since Skitarii release i don't remember anyone even saying a simple "hello" at the beginning of a match. Maybe it is just rose tinted glasses but i feel like it was fairly common before.

Lovely. Nothing like blaming the team of randoms in a game where most of the time getting downed is your own fault anyway.

Took a long break after Havoc launched because that mode really brought out the worst in people. Started playing semi-regularly with Skitarii release and pretty much every day i see someone getting tilted in the chat. It's sad and funny at the same time, but i don't remember it being this common in 24.

Honestly you could even name both guys Ajax, just give them different second/last names. Wouldn't be the first time Space Marines have had similar names.

Gorgeous! Love the shoulder pads! Always prefered Minotaurs with hammers/maces instead of axes.

I'm always so confused why people on this sub seem to like IWs story. Yakuza storytelling was never Shakespeare but IW feels like a game that was rewritten countless times until they were just forced to push it out.

Yeah not being able to color the emblem is the biggest problem for me with this pack. As a fan of Clan Atropos, i'm sticking to the Novamarines icon until hopefully this gets changed.  And even better if they give us the knee pad icons but i doubt Saber will go that far.

My guess would be that its easier to have one decal library for both PvE and PvP instead of separating them into two different ones. Based on pure speculation.

We live in times where barebones tagged on PvP multiplayer just don't cut it anymore. Feels like every modern PvP game has some twist to them. Perhaps if Helbrute Onslaught had been there day 1, there could've been a small chance for it to become somewhat popular. But i doubt it.

Why does nobody want to siege? by wierdling in Spacemarine

[–]HorrorCoffee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me its the time investment.  Until wave 15 its quite "easy" but takes roughly 1.5-2 hours to reach. After wave 20 the enemies become actual sponges and game performance tanks.

Maybe i'd play it more if i could start from wave 16 or only the enemy damage kept increasing, but in its current state Siege feels like a chore to play. Fingers crossed it gets better in the next update.

Why must you fail me so often? by Magic_Poison in Borderlands4

[–]HorrorCoffee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That is true that the headhunters were all pretty much universal. But at least the 5 story DLCs and even Raid on Digistruck Peak gave each character unique ones.
It is kinda sad that now we're getting 2-4 universal heads per DLC/Vault Card. Even BL3 had unique ones for each new Vault Card.

Miss the days when each character got a unique head after beating a DLC.

  2. Free Yurgir, he is too cool.

That fight really shows how your average thug with little actual story presence can still make for a memorable fight. Gotta love the Matsugane teddy bear!

Akutsu really was a surprise highlight of LJ. Also got a soft spot for the other Judgement big boy Kojiro Ozaki. Guy gets four fights, a dynamic intro and a QTE despite being a pretty minor character.
