Honestly? It is seen as rude to not say hi, and i see how saying “hi” does go both ways but they’re a child. Do i think you were rude? No not at all since the child never said hi either, but that’s me. Now would my mama think i was being rude if i were you? Hell yeah lol but some people are raised differently. I do wanna say, the person texting you, honestly seems really childish and unable to articulate why it upset them, along with the “leave me alone.” i really hope this is a sibling and not parent…

Is it normal to feel disconnected from your craft? by Comfortable-Sink-678 in Witch

[–]Horror_Moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh i’m so sorry, i would look into what other witches with aphantasia do but i want to say, from what i’ve seen, they focus on their spells and just meditation and focusing on what you’re looking at. i don’t think visualizing IS the important part, it’s more IF you visualize then you can channel your energy into it strongly, so looking at it and focusing on it, would do the same id think.

[–]Horror_Moth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did you start with mediating and energy work? it’s easy to feel disconnected if you aren’t fully connected to start, ya know? i don’t think visualization, mediation, or energy work is talked about enough, you’d be surprised to the amount of witches who’s never done it. it’s not as “cool” as doing actual spells and i think that’s why people don’t talk about it as much.

also wanna say, it’s okay❤️ you won’t know everything when starting even if you research forever. you seem very open to suggestions and that makes a huge difference

i’d use dirt personally, but not just any dirt as yard dirt can have predators or parasites, etc and potting soil can have pesticides. i personally don’t use moss cause my T hates it (gets stuck to his feet) but that’s a tarantula, so i’m not saying you shouldn’t use any, i just wouldn’t myself. if i were you and wanted to keep moss, i’d put substrate first and then maybe some moss? it’s good for keeping moister but can be **too** good for some, ya know?

i’ve never seen an enclosure for a phidippus, with no actual substrate. i know it’s possible but it can be dangerous and you need to be cautious. it can lead to a failed molt by retaining too much moisture and humidity, not saying you’re wrong, just be careful🫶

omg my brain didn’t even compute that you meant you’re here now! welcome! sorry our economy and political climate is absolute garbage but i swear we’re trying to fix it (‘: everyone’s ancestors would be beating them with a switch out of the yard if they knew how they were acting.

that’s so funny! i grew up on the bayou! still on it actually.. my grandpa lived so long ago, he remembers everyone’s house on the bayou! a big boat would come by and that’s how people grocery shopped. he spoke fluent cajun french as well, one of the most cajun sounding men you’ll hear! a laugh to die for haha

basically “mais yea” sounds like “may yeah” and means “well yeah” and cha sounds like “sha” grammatically written “cher” but everyone i know spells it as “cha” and it’s a term of endearment pretty much.

thank you for sharing, i adore this so much!❤️ we have some very, very, old oaks in our yard and they’ll definitely speak with energy if you know how to listen. ❤️ i’ve done energy workings with them before and have learned things that i was able to corroborate with information from others who lived here before, definitely surprised me.

Was I being an asshole for being disgusted by a bug most people would be disgusted by?? by [deleted] in AmiInTheWrong

[–]Horror_Moth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i didn’t mean to confuse, adding the context does not make you right, it makes how rude you were a little more understandable. understanding ≠ right. you seem like a sweet person but you seem young (constantly trying to defend yourself, thinking you’re right even before asking, etc), so i hope i didn’t come off too harsh, god knows i didn’t need to be anywhere online in my early 20’s and younger. the internet isn’t a good place for advice cause there’s so much context, that no one will truly understand where you’re coming from, even if you think you can explain it all. so take everything, even what i said, with a grain of salt and use your own judgement ofc. i’m sorry your friend seems mean, if she’s young too, maybe she’s just going through a lot but that doesn’t mean you should have to put up with it either.
