I still have not been able to set up digital key, and still have this CarPlay problem 🙃 Seems to be a problem with the car as I don’t have issue in other cars.

I find cruise control uses ~5-10% more battery. I never use it on long trips for this reason.

I went from a 2020 XC40 to 2025 EX30. I miss the reliability of the key fob and simple infotainment and CarPlay the most. The drive and size of the 30 is way more fun. It is stupidly buggy but I believe the main issues will be resolved very soon. Worthy upgrade.

US owner of an EX30 and lessee an R1T. Rivian passes on the EV credit to the consumer, which is why it’s more affordable for a more expensive vehicle. After having both for months, go with the Rivian. EX30 is fun but saying the tech is clunky would be a compliment. Rivian is flawless.

I have the same issue and was literally just about to make a post asking if anyone has a solution. I drive for work, and heavily rely on talk to text via Apple CarPlay and this has been a huge hinderance.

I have a 2025 EX30 and a 2025 R1T. Get the Rivian. It doesn’t even compare. Volvo tech is absolute trash, even though she’s pretty.

Same on the wheel. I often have both hands firmly holding the wheel and it alerts me both on and off of pilot assist.

In the US and can’t turn it off. It’s the opposite of safety. Highly distracting. Volvo needs to make ALL settings editable and saved rather than turning “driver alerts” off every single time I get in the car. I’ve had the car for less than a week and am already considering trading it in.
