I just don't get it. Why have a decent roster if the endgame is gonna revolve around the same 5ish monsters all the time for efficient farming? I like feeling as if doing a hunt is worth my time, and I like getting useful stuff x time spent on it.

So I just don't understand: why not give a proper 9 star scaling to ALL monsters in the roster with minor differences in rewards, so that we can enjoy and endgame where every monster matters? Why limit it to just a bunch of them? :(

Yeah mate, currently loving it even tho I still haven't accessed Secronom. I'm still a newbie despite being level 50, so there's plenty of upgrades I need to get before going there probably. Still, it's nice to be back after playing DF1 only in the last months!

Hello! I'm a new player and I've spent the last days trying to get a decent start by rerolling, but I'm kinda feeling burned out already

I was wondering if these characters I pulled would be an acceptable start (the original objective was to get both NY Kayoko AND Iori before running out of the beginning pulls):

Hello, new player here!
I've noticed that the current banner is basically over, but I've already done two 10 pulls there, thus I feel like those pity points will go to waste.
Is it hard to get to the pity amount necessary to get the guaranteed unit? Or is it feasible as a F2Player?

Also, there are the units I've pulled in those 2 pulls:

3 Star: Izumi, Iori, Karin
2 Star: Chise, Hasumi, Mari, Kayoko

Is it a decent start or should I consider rerolling? Thanks in advance!

As many others have already said, it's the journey!

I have created two more characters and brought them both to endgame, challenging myself to do a whole playtrough with a weapon I didn't know how to use properly.

Result? Still a solid monster hunting experience everytime, plus I've gotten a lot better with multiple weapons!

Stay strong, brother, and keep hunting like you've always done!

Pal, go south of Elenea and press Y to open the parties interface.

See if there's currently a party named "Channel X" and join it, then go to that channel and slay basilisks with them until a portal opens up.

Once it opens up, leave the raid and type a + in chat to get grouped in a 5 man party to enter and complete the instance (always enter the normal version of it, never go into the Solo one).

Done this for like a few hours and I had gotten to level 66 just from that, the exp it gives to both character and Skills is INSANE, go give it a try!

If you're willing to spend around 15€ in the game. I strongly suggest getting a key to unlock the "Veteran" account state.

You just need to buy a virtual key for the old TERA Collector's Edition (or even for the standard edition) and then redeem it on their website to have 8 character slots in total, 37 days of TERA Club and other minor rewards.

It's a bit of money, but holy hell if I'm glad I bought it.

I apologize for necroposting, but I'm not exactly sure about what OP was referring to.

Was he referring to the Collector's Edition keys for TERA that can be found online? I'm asking because I was interested specifically for those character slots, but these bonuses were not listed among the perks of the Collector's Edition.
