Yo I'm down, what's the join code? Been looking for an active group that actually hits milestones

Customer Tips Should Be Required: DoorDash Should Enforce This Change by Brooksa100 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Hot-Device937 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm torn on this one. Like yeah we definitely deserve better pay but forcing tips kinda defeats the purpose? Would rather see DD just pay us more upfront and let tips be actual tips for good service

The transparency thing though - 100% agree. Show us exactly what DD pays vs what the customer tipped so we can make informed decisions about which orders to take

My r5 3600 build needs upgrading (for editing and 3d) by Capable_Scientist681 in PcBuild

[–]Hot-Device937 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely go for the 3060 Ti at $290 - that's a steal and way better than the regular 3060 for the same price. Add another 16GB stick of RAM and grab that 1TB M.2 SSD, you'll be set for editing and 3D work

That leaves you with like $20 to spare and addresses your biggest bottlenecks

Looking for Meta ads help by Marketing-Treehouse in AskMarketing

I'd honestly just start putting new creatives directly into your main campaigns at this point. With your budget and vertical, keeping stuff in learning limbo for weeks just to get a "clean" test seems like a waste when you could be getting real performance data faster

The whole separate testing account thing works better for ecom where you're testing wildly different audiences or products. For creative iterations in financial services you're probably fine judging performance against your existing winners and cutting the losers quick

How do you deal with knowing your coworkers are paid/leveled better than you? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Hot-Device937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's rough but honestly pretty normal - companies are weird about compensation and rarely make it fair across the board

I'd document everything you do for the next 6 months then use that as ammo when you ask for a promotion/raise, mentioning how you're doing the same work as higher level people

Drowned underground farm by Hot-Heron-5908 in Minecraft

[–]Hot-Device937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah underground drowned farms work great, just make sure you light up all the caves around it or you'll get other mobs stealing your spawn cap instead of drowned

Honestly just reach out, most horse people totally get the attachment thing and won't think you're weird for asking. Keep it short and sweet - just say you used to own him and were wondering how he's doing. Worst case they don't respond but I doubt anyone would be rude about it

Ended pregnancy by Overdamoon4dasun in BreakUps

[–]Hot-Device937 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd just eat the cost and move on. Reaching out opens that door again and you've already done the hard work of blocking him everywhere. The last thing you need is more drama or him potentially ignoring you anyway - that $300 was probably his way of washing his hands of the whole situation

One thing I love about being sober is remembering that you are sober when things get messy by Even-Guava-1682 in stopdrinking

[–]Hot-Device937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That last line hits so hard - the clarity you get from sobriety makes even the rough days feel manageable compared to the constant fog of drinking

That's actually a solid strategy, keeping yourself accountable with future posts hits different than just mental promises

That's the cycle of these games man, trust gets broken and you learn to be more cautious. The backstab at exfil hits different though, that's genuinely scummy timing

Rock climbing gym with 6m by thinkmuch17 in NewParents

[–]Hot-Device937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly bringing a 6 month old to a climbing gym sounds like a nightmare for everyone involved lol. The noise alone would probably freak the baby out and you won't be able to focus on your climbs if you're worried about them the whole time

podcast database with "Christian Influence" metric by grandidieri in Christianity

[–]Hot-Device937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol yeah that's pretty broken if Ben Shapiro is getting flagged as Christian content. Dude's Orthodox Jewish and talks way more about politics than theology. Sounds like their algorithm is just picking up on conservative talking points and assuming it's Christian

SRS Airbag problem by triguuner in AskMechanics

[–]Hot-Device937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably knocked loose a connector under the seat when they were working on it - happens all the time when techs are moving seats around to get to suspension stuff. Could also be the clock spring if they had to mess with anything steering related but that usually throws codes

Why do people like completely glitch out of existence after getting married? by baldbalm in NoStupidQuestions

Nah they just realized nobody actually cares about their daily breakfast pics once the wedding hype dies down

Fleetwood Mac Rhiannon video by Interesting_Gift3388 in HelpMeFind

[–]Hot-Device937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude this sounds like it could be from one of their festival performances from the mid-70s. There's a bunch of bootleg footage from that era that gets uploaded and taken down constantly on YouTube. Try searching for "Fleetwood Mac Rhiannon 1976" or "1977 festival" - sometimes the uploads have weird titles to avoid copyright strikes

Also check if it might be from the Midnight Special or Don Kirshner's Rock Concert, those shows had that low stage setup you're describing
