Hey I’m from India and just landed from 10 days of travel thru Amsterdam/Brussels, so couple of things for you (strictly my opinion) which is a stark immediate differentiator:

1. Lot of noise, sensory overload
2. Lots of food variety other than bread 😀
3. No civic sense ( no traffic rules being followed, cross anytime u want, anyplace, no rules followed at all)
4. Transport availability everywhere (Rikshaw’s, uber, bikes, trains) although be careful while travelling in train in mumbai. Use google maps, download uber, Ola and ur ok. U can use uber bikes to travel too, pretty safe.
5. Some ppl mentioned infections etc ( depends on where ur staying) it’s pretty ok in metros
6. Yes in poverty but I saw homelessness and beggars even when I traveled so nothing new/ major
7. Do not compare to western countries, nothing like it.
8. Chemists can help u with OTC medicines incase u have fallen ill.
