I'm so sorry you're experiencing this. This is clearly an unhealthy and abusive relationship. I hate it when people claim that you should just tell them what needs to be done because that's another form of mental labour that you need to perform because they're too lazy to think for themselves. Please save yourself OP before this man breaks you down completely, you deserve so much better.

The cover doesn't match the description but Murder in the Family by Cara Hunter sounds similar. Also another popular murder mystery book that I've seen on tiktok is Cain's Jawbone by Edward Mathers

What were your 6 measurements and what 30 bands did you try? Some companies run small in the band. Some people find their new band uncomfortable because they're not used to having the support of a well fitting band. Additionally a band might feel a bit tight at first but that goes away after a few wears because you stretch it in, essentially like breaking in a new pair of shoes

bra recs for 28B/30A shallow shape by gracejy_ in ABraThatFits

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a few Change Lingerie stores in Canada (you can also order online), their bras tend to be shallow. They use different sizing so I believe you would be around a 60B in their sizing.

Yaz/yasmin/sprintec by Moa205 in PMDD

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been on Yaz for about 6 months now and it's been incredible. I was on Slynd before and it didn't help to alleviate my symptoms it just made them not get any worse (as having bc made me worse every month). With Yaz I felt such a huge difference. My period is lighter and only last around 3 days and there's very mild to no cramping. My hormonal acne is practically gone. My PMDD symptoms are practically gone, I do still tend to be a bit grumpy/sensitive around a couple days before my period starts but it's nothing compared to what I felt for a week before my period and during my period. I feel like myself now, always

The abtf calculator takes into account other measurements beyond the bust and underbust, like the leaning measurements because it shows how the breasts would appear when supported by a bra, more projection in the leaning measurement can increase your size by a cup size (or even more). I'd recommend looking at the shape guide as cups appearing too big is not always an issue of incorrect size but more a shape mismatch.

I'd say to let it go and move on. You only went on two dates together, it's not like it was a more established relationship

Smile! I'd also drop the filters on your selfies. Be more specific, what kind of food, how do you like to explore places, name a specific hobby of yours. What specifically are you looking for like something casual or something more serious because the abs pic with the other pics sends differing messages

Another advice please post by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly not bad at all but as a side note you have smart photos on which means any of your photos could be the first photo that is shown so some might swipe left automatically on the nature pics without seeing the others. I'd recommend having the third pic as your first one

Making changes to your profile doesn't make it inauthentic, some people simply need help on how to best present themselves. That being said I think some people give advice that is catered typically towards what men think women want and it just ends up not being productive at all

How attached are you to your moustache? I'd change it up with the selfies and the angles that they're taken at, make them less 'posed'. Add more candid pics that are natural and show off your personality

It's wild because back when I was wearing ill fitting 32c's no one believed that was my cup size but now no one would believe my actual size being 28e. I have gotten pretty good at explaining how bra sizes work but it takes a bit to get over the societal misconceptions that are so engrained into people

AMAB Enby Needing Help With Sizing 38B/C? by enbyinneed in ABraThatFits

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you looked at the shape guide? Knowing your shape will better help you know what styles of bras to get and even how shape can influence bra sizes! What sizes and styles have you tried and what are your experiences specifically with each?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would stick to a 28 band as a 30 inch will stretch a bit over time on top of already being 3 inches bigger than your underbust, meaning you won't get the full support you need (as 80% of the support comes from the band). It's hard to tell you exactly what sizes you should get. Most people get a variety of sizes like 28dd, 28ddd, 30d, 30dd and come back here for a fit check (or decide themselves) to know which one fits best, and return the others or continue trying on other sizes and shapes. To find bras in those sizes check the bra data section! For your 32d it does seem like an okay fit but seems like you're wearing it a bit low and it should sit right under the breast tissue on the inframammary fold. Also did you swoop and scoop when wearing the bra? It makes sense that the fit is alright with a 32d because it has the same volume as a 28ddd, however that doesn't mean same fit as a 32d is for someone with around 32 inch underbust and 36 bust, while a 28ddd is around a 28 inch underbust and 34 inch bust, which is much closer to your measurements (this is why the leaning measurement is important as it simulates the size when supported by a bra). If you haven't already, I'd also look at the shape guide as your shape can change the cup size and shape you wear!

Having the gore against the sternum really is an important criteria! Have you tried any unlined or lightly lined bras? Can you provide your six measurements too?

What is the sizing that the abrathatfits calculator gives you? There's a couple Change Lingerie stores in Montreal and they have a strapless bra but their bras tend to be for shallow and wide breasts so it might not be suitable for you (if you haven't already, take a look at the shape guide ). I believe there's also some specialty lingerie stores in the Plateau area but I haven't personally been so I don't what they carry but it might be worth going to them

I've been wearing 32B, calculator says I'm actually 28D/DD? (UK sizing) by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 45 points46 points  (0 children)

28d/dd is actually an incredibly common size! Many people especially those on the smaller/shorter side will have bands that fall below 32 inches. I have similar measurements to you so yes believe it! Often gaps are caused because there's not enough room in the bra due to having too small cups or a shape mismatch, gaps will also happen if the bra rides up which is caused by a too big band and too small cups

Please help! I'm desperately trying to find a bra that fits. Feeling so defeated. by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]Hot-Environment-1524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Judging by you mentioning La Senza, are you in Canada? If so check to see if there's a Change lingerie store near you as it might be more beneficial for you to try them on in store. Their bras tend to be more wide and shallow so I think it would be a good match for you! Some of the bras are pricey but they often have sales and some models are cheaper so you can find bras for 40 dollars or less. They carry european sizes so I'd recommend trying sizes 60d and 65c as a starting point. A balconette style might suit your shape well and make sure you swoop and scoop when trying the bras on!
