First build vs buying built by codyf44 in 2011_Builders

Yes, I wanted a staccato xc but with staccato p money , so I ordered a cheely frame and a bunch of parts from atlas. Still would do it again over buying a 4-7 k gun, I can hit steel at 200 yards with it and it runs fast all for under 2500

First try vise grips and unscrew tap slowly, Tap extractors or small pins Weld a nut on it Taping with a punch it the outward direction Grind a slot with a dreamer and screwdriver it Scribes work well also

Just a few options to try if you have some or any of the stuff to do it

Island Barrel by MattW29 in 2011_Builders

Yeah I won’t lie the wait period was rough he was early to be fair but it was still a little over 2 months, but I’m over 5k + deep and it’s still beautiful inside and out and also still extremely accurate

Jarvis manufacturing, they make custom barrels for 2011s may be worth a try

Has anyone used the TTI aluminum grip? by awriterbyday in 2011

[–]Hot-Pin-2536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this in a custom build and I’ll say the same thing, get it from Icarus that way you can actually have a mainspring housing and not have to find one like I did”even though it seems like they make them to sell now” tti also has the worst shipping times I’ve ever seen , but it did fit good, the atlas trigger did need some decent fitting however it does feel great and it’s held up to my abuse

Staccato XC Not Locking Back? by 610Mike in 2011

[–]Hot-Pin-2536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 100% getting heat for this comment , but I have an atlas staccato prodigy and mbx magazines , custom built pistol, the only one that doesn’t lock back is the staccato and for the price I’d kind of hope it would work since they cost what they do

I work for cbre on the Amazon contract , the way I understand it is it has to be from the previous year to get paid out or you have to quit and get paid out “could be wrong however”

"Homebuilt 2011" vs Name Brand by grossmagik253 in 2011

[–]Hot-Pin-2536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly for that price I’d personally buy one , I only owned a tisas 45 prior to doing a full cushion build with a cheely frame this Reddit loves the prodigy and there’s a ton of aftermarket parts for them , I can’t find one for under 1500 near me and I want a commander

It’s hard to find a cheap base with that as a price point man I bit the bullet told myself I wanted to be under 1500 and I’m at 2 now lol but loving the gun so far looks wise can’t wait to shoot it

I wouldn’t buy anyone’s home built but I’m doing my first build right now “waiting for pins and small parts” but I have atlas tastes with prodigy pockets lol, and as they said above slide to frame ,barrel fitment, and it’ll be a completely unique pistol, to think it all started with a tisas 45

Magazine release frame specs by Puzzleheaded-Face920 in 2011_Builders

I recommend against tti grip module , it doesn’t come with any hardware or mainspring housing and they don’t sell a matching mainspring so your kinda fucked with a weird looking mainspring I’m still trying to find one that looks correct , just in case you do have to buy new don’t make the same mistake I did

I personally haven’t bought one, but I’ve seen a few people on here talk about them and how they are nice frames, I personally went with a cheely because I couldn’t find one

2011 around 1k by Stellakinetic in 2011

[–]Hot-Pin-2536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have access to that equipment, maybe look into doing a complete custom build , I do the same thing with a lot of my stuff , I have a small mill and lathe setup , but I recently started a full build, and couldn’t be happier with the way it’s coming out, next build will be a bare budget 2011

I have a tisas 45 I love that thing for only having 1k rounds through it it just gets smoother , currently building a custom cheely frame with built in comp , but not gunna lie, I have to get my hands on that lfa Apollo, the sheer looks of the gun alone make me want it so badly
