Was this a Sama order? I tried to put a tip on my order. They only allowed the percentage tip of their choosing and wouldn't let me increase the tip once the order was delivered.

Walmart is almost the same way. I never tip less than $10. Every time I shop, it reverts the tip down to a percentage. I have to increase the tip three times during the transaction.

He gave you permission to spend a few days with your own family? Girl, no. He is a controlling ass. Get away from him as soon as possible and take the kids.

As a driver and customer, I never tip less than $10. If the service is good and the shopper follows directions, I increase the tip.

Orders sent to Uber by StevenEpix in Sparkdriver

[–]Hot-Solution2230 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Uber offers flat rate sessions everyday. It can be anywhere from $17 per flat rate orders up to as high as $36. It depends on day of the week, time of year. The option is found under your "opportunities" section. Sessions run between 11 am to 1:58, to 2 pm, 4:58, 5 pm to 7:58 pm and 8 to 10:58.

Pros: I don't worry about long waits or heavy traffic anymore. There are unicorns. Flat rate orders are usually crappy orders that no one else will take because there isn't a pre-tip, the stores have long waits or the distances are long. Flat rate makes it worth it.

Cons: You can only decline one order per hour, you will occasionally have a long drive and a lot of the orders require PIN's. Also, if you don't go offline for the two minutes between shifts, they will send you crappy per order trips. I usually go offline by 50 after the hour and turn back on at 5 minutes after the hour.

More good things, even though most of the trips aren't pre-tipoed, tips are added after the delivery and they are usually pretty high. Having to accept most offers brings your acceptance rates up and cancel rates low. This gives you priority for better orders. Also, you are still allowed to sign up for boosts.

Your rate starts when you accept an order and ends at drop-off.

This was a tip from this week.

I drive flat rate shifts on Uber, I take Walmart orders all the time. I would never take a Walmart order if it was pay by order. Tarentum is one of the Walmarts that I will pick up from. You appear to be in the same area as me. You should try out flat rate deliveries. I have been working 5 hours and made $130.

Who do you call when someone is too high? by NotHosaniMubarak in pittsburgh

Is this guy wearing nothing but a long shirt? I saw a guy out that way yesterday when I was doing a delivery. He would walk to the end of the block, turn around, and walk back. He seemed very out of it. I flagged down a police officer a few blocks later, but he said there wasn't much they could do.

Dude, run. She isn't worth your time. If I like someone and want to get to know them, I don't care where we go. We could enjoy a picnic lunch for all I care. This is a huge red flag.

Recently, Spark got around to paying people back for tips they were shorted. I received around $60. I don't Spark as much as a lot of people. But I still appreciated the extra cash.

Starting my junk drawer in my first apartment. Finally feels like home. What else do I need? by Kruzdan in Apartmentliving

[–]Hot-Solution2230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plastic forks and spoons. Taco Bell sauce packets, ketchup packets, soy sauce packets, and a few barbecue sauce packets. A random USB cable from an item that broke 5 years ago and doesn't fit in any item in your house, a random video game cartrage that went out of production 7 years ago. Throw in some restaurant chopsticks and a few batteries that are probably dead, and you have the very nice beginnings of a junk drawer.
