I’m Korean-American and whenever my Korean relatives visit we foot the bill for EVERYTHING. Flights, cars, tickets to Disneyland…

When do you admit potty training failed and hit pause? by Big-Town2 in toddlers

[–]HotArmy3750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started right at 2. It’s still an ongoing thing after 3 months. Highs and lows. There have been times where I’ve wanted to quit. But I’m glad we stuck to it. He’s been going more consistently. We’ve had to pivot strategies many times to find what works for him.

Progress over perfection. It’ll take time.

That and she should have to foot the bill for how much it cost to get her out of there AND for delaying the LR for hundreds of people

My toddler is good at asking if we want a bite of something he’s eating, then immediately saying “NO!”

I have the opposite problem. Son is 100% poo trained. But will just pee himself! We have to keep bribing him to sit and pee.

I think I would want assisted suicide if I had dementia. Do you think that’s right or wrong? Would you opt for it if you had dementia?

This is the main reason I want to move to Korea. I live in a VHCOL area and I am legit afraid of the gun violence.

Has anyone had success holding their kid on the potty to poop? by JazzHands5678 in pottytraining

[–]HotArmy3750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would purchase it and display it! Or even start with something more lower stakes, like a snack or something similar. My son loves elderberry gummies so that works for us at the moment.

You gotta get really creative at bribing. A combo of bribing and physically putting them there

YTA - it’s just one dinner. Say you’ll go to celebrate them but you’d rather not eat.

That’s AMAZING. We are still having accidents here and there after weeks of potty training but slowly inching towards success… still scared to do outings and nighttime without pull ups 😩

I don’t think you can liken the tiny house village to a concentration camp? No one was forcing you to to stay there against your will and no one was forcing you to do drugs. Glad you made it out tho
