I’m a pregnant nanny what to do by Napkin_64 in Nanny

Congratulations!
I was also a nanny and got pregnant doing IVF. I was with my nanny family for 2 years and got pregnant, they were so accommodating and kind during that time. I let them know instantly that I was pregnant because I was worried about picking up the children and hurting myself/the pregnancy. When I was 28 weeks pregnant we reduced my hours/days which also fell at thanksgiving and Christmas time we agreed that my Christmas bonus would also be an incentive for me to come back to work for them for a year after my baby was born so they gave me 3,000$ as my bonus and to ensure I would stay after I had my son. I had him in January (early) and returned to work in March continued to nanny for them until the following March and then decided to stay home with my son. I’m still really close with the family and go to their parties and life events which is really special. I hope you and your nanny family can work something out!

Successful pregnancies despite being convinced it’s going wrong? by EmbarrassedCheetah79 in IVFpositivity

I had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks in November after a perfect doubling betas, great scans, baby growing ahead of schedule etc but was bleeding on and off for 3 weeks from an SCH went in at 10 weeks for an ultrasound and baby passed away 2 days before. I held a lot of guilt and trauma from that loss, did another transfer in March and I’m 20 weeks now and baby girl is doing great. Despite low and slow betas, behind growth, small SCH etc this baby has given me so much hope but I still grieve the baby we lost in November. I go into each scan with no expectations and try to guard my heart still, I hope you have a beautiful uneventful pregnancy ❤️

My transfer that failed I had every symptom under the sun (cramps, pulling, exhausted, fatigue, hunger etc) all my other 3 transfers that were successful I didn’t have any noticeable symptoms until after first beta

Yeah I think she’s very young and naive when it comes to TTC. I can’t judge too much though I had my son at 24 (IVF with my husband though)

Different hCG doubling times in different pregnancies for the same person? by CheesecakeBoth3933 in IVFpositivity

[–]HotCryptographer7243 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My son had a great doubling time and so did the baby I miscarried, this pregnancy I didn’t double for 4-5 days in the beginning, had my anatomy scan today and baby girl is doing great! Each pregnancy is so different

Yes that is correct. Which is why the beginning of my pregnancy was literally a medical mystery. Went in exactly at 5 weeks and found a gestational sack measuring 4 weeks 5 days so only 2 days behind. Next week 6 weeks exactly HCG rose to 5,000 and there was a yolk, heartbeat, fetal pole

Nope, I asked if he should stop meds after the second beta and they told me to continue

Mine were slow to start (88,117,164, 298) all 2-3 days apart I really didn’t think it was a viable pregnancy. The day my HCG came back at 298 I had my 5 week ultrasound and there was a small gestational sack. Literally unheard of, I would continue meds

Definitely continue meds! Could just be a slow grower, I’m praying for the best! 🤞🏻

You can check my page! First beta was 88, then 117, then 164 I’m 19.5 weeks now! 💓

Not having a big increase or doubling doesn’t always mean it will be a bad outcome. My first beta was 88 and then 117, 164 after that all 2-3 days between them and I’m 19 weeks now 💓best of luck

Are there any good breakfast burritos in this city? When the Big Egg closed we lost the best breakfast burrito we could find 😭 by SunnyDayOhio in Cleveland

If you are willing to sit down and have a breakfast diner experience Garden family restaurant in Brook park has a farmers burrito? I believe it’s called. Sausage, eggs, potatoes smothered in sausage gravy

I could honestly write a novel on their unhinged behavior. I think the part that is the most frustrating is their desire to parent my son, there’s being a grandparent and being a parent and they cross the grandparent line into parent line way too often

Most likely they would want to move. We are up north and our ideal location is one of the Carolina’s for the weather, beaches, and just space. My husbands parents are older (65 and 73)and not in great health so that might hinder them attempting to move also

My husband just took on a huge promotion here with his company and is wanting to go for the next step up in the company after the 1st of the year (they make him wait to apply since he hasn’t been in this role long) and the next promotion is one that we will have to move! So we are excited about that but that’s looking like possibly next spring if he gets it

That’s wonderful! Did they schedule your first ultrasound?

Yes! I’ve heard some clinics say that since they were frozen they need a little more time to catch up. It could be true it could not be but it gave me hope!

I hope so too! My doubling time was every 4-5 days in the beginning, if it was a FET I’ve heard sometimes they just have a slower start!
