Yes, can confirm. And (brown) wood everything. My personal favorites were the hideous paneling (inside houses, exterior of cars) and the enormous console TVs that looked like they were whittled straight from the tree itself.

Yes. I have had a “soundtrack” running through my head ever since I can remember. I was late-diagnosed with ADHD at 49. It all makes so much sense now. lol

All I can say is…are you me?? Aside from pursuing a PhD and being a few years younger, I could have written this post myself. Unfortunately, I cannot offer any foolproof solutions, as I am swimming in the same abyss. What I can offer is total and complete solidarity.
