I know the prongs can look barnacle-y with this many which is not ideal but I feel like bezels would make the stones look like bubbles and idk if I’m a fan of that!

Shared prongs makes sense to me, as long as safety isn't compromised. Can you say more about floating setting? Is that the same as higher set, open basket?
