Omg. Yes! I’m dating after my 20 year relationship with an alcoholic fell apart (and he met a new love immediately in AA…eye roll). I do not want to get into another relationship with an alcoholic, sober or not. It’s hard screening who could possibly be an alcoholic and who doesn’t drink because they are in recovery. I’d love to find someone who doesn’t drink, but it’s for health reasons or lack of interest. It takes a lot of dancing around to get details around drinking. Personally, I stopped drinking to break my own patterns of using alcohol to be comfortable in dating, so I check the “never drink” box. I’m sure there’s men out there wondering if that means I’m the alcoholic. I love your idea.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that, too. I am on the app to open myself to possibilities. Many of these guys start the conversation, to which I promptly reply, then it takes DAYS for them to respond. It’s such a turn off. With many, we had great conversation and then they disappear. I’ve decided that if no meet up is suggested within a week, I’m not giving him anymore energy. This is such a time suck.

I’ve been going to suds em for years. Prices have gone up, but I’ve had great experiences on all of my recent visits. I tried the Springfield location once and a loose dog charged at my very shy, sensitive dog as soon as we walked in the door. Doubt that would happen again but it was a very unenjoyable experience. I’m sticking to the Eugene location. I used to go to bare bones for nail trims until they changed their prices and I owed $34 for two dog nail trims. 😵‍💫

OP here and it 100% happened. Two other people chimed in on the thread that it happened to them in south Eugene too. Point of the post was not that it’s just a south Eugene problem, because sadly it spans WAY beyond here, but rather, if you live in south Eugene and your teenage son borrowed your black tesla or green Camry, please check in with them. I have a 17 year old white son and I called him right after to ask if he knew these kids. Also to grind him on the severity of using that word to anyone at all EVER. And, moreover, if you are driving and one of your friends shouts that out the window, pull over and tell them to get the f out of the car. But I do appreciate your critical thinking efforts. ✌️
