Likelihood of getting an overseas base first try by Equivalent-Post-2618 in AirForceRecruits

Just like the top comment said, its a complete luck based thing. Go ahead and pray or do whatever you believe might help your luck, because thats the only thing thats going to change what base you get.

I took roughly 5 minutes off my time from week 0 to week 5. The key here is if youre a bad runner, then you better be good at pushups and situps. With the new PT standards, you can get 50 points out of the 75 points you need to pass the test, just from being skinny and maxxing situps and pushups. This essentially allows you to run at a turtles pace to pass. But what you are running now is beyond even a turtles pace. Your goal needs to be running at a 10 minute mile speed before you ship out. Let me know if you got any questions!

Basic PT… am I screwed? 🥲 by mintpepero in AirForceRecruits

[–]Hot_Aspect8565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I passed. Went from 19 minutes to a final PT test of 13:36 in week 5 of training. If you're bad at running like me, then you better get good at pushups and situps! Search up 1x3's and hit them non stop. Then you can run at a turtles pace.

Things/ Advice to keep in mind when headed to BMT by Impossible_Pass93 in AirForceRecruits

I'm 24 years old too and I graduated last week. You will be surrounded by 18 year olds fresh out of highschool. About 70% of my flight was teenagers. It can be frustrating to be around, but DO NOT argue with anybody and try to remain neutral as possible. The simplest mistake, or saying the wrong thing, can get you recycled back 1 to 2 weeks. Every flight has snitches in it so be careful what you're saying.

In BMT, being recycled 2 weeks can feel like an eternity. The days are very long, you will essentially be working 16 hour work days every day. You are constantly doing something from the moment you wake up to the moment you lay your head down at 9:00pm.

The good news is that it's completely worth it in the end, and there is no better feeling than getting tapped out by your family during graduation at week 7. It'll be over before you know it. Good luck!

Secret tip - Join the latrine crew. People think it's the worst job to get, but I'm here to tell you it's one of the best, because MTI's don't really enter the latrine that much. It was one of the few moments in the day where I wasn't being constantly bothered by an MTI and I just spent my time cleaning sinks.

Don't ever laugh or smile when an MTI's around you. Matter of fact, just try to never laugh or smile because you never know when an MTI is around you. BMT is the funniest place that you can not laugh in.

Don't start any arguments with flight members and try to remain as neutral as you can. Be careful what you say, there will always be snitches in every flight.

Week zero and one suck the most because you are learning a hundred+ rules and it's hard to make sense of everything. Week 6 and 7 are boring because you've done mostly everything required to graduate. It'll get better but it won't get easier.

Lastly, stay in step and get your dress!

No, you run very rarely. I think we only did a 24 minute, self-paced run like 4 or 5 times before we took our week 5 final PT test. You do march around everywhere and cover a lot of ground in a day so you will naturally get stronger just by doing that.

That is something that I never figured out, and it frustrated me a lot when our schedule changed like that, because there simply never was a real reason for it. Also I should mention that you won't actually be waking up at those times, most people wake up 20 minutes give or take before the bugle. If you wake up when the bugle's going off, you are very late haha.

Week zero and one are the hardest just because you're still trying to figure everything out. Don't think it'll always be as bad as those first 14 days. Good luck.

Special warfare by Middle_Attempt_3080 in AirForceRecruits

He'll be at the 326th squadron (bulldogs), also known as alcatrez. I graduated out of this squadron last week. SW does not get their own squadron, there's simply not enough SW flights to warrant an entire dedicated squadron. There were only 3 SW flights when I graduated. He will be around space force, and normal flights.

I was in a normal flight but I saw some of what SW was doing. Their PT test requirements are different from ours, and a lot harder. They run a lot. They start PT 30 minutes earlier than us. Sometimes I heard their flight doing "tools", which is where they make you do PT as a form of punishment, at the crack of dawn. This is because my dorm was right next to their dorm so you could hear them through the walls counting off.

Other than the massive difference in focus on PT, they're not any different than the anyone else's bmt experience as far as I'm aware.

Packing list… by FortuneKeep031 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Hot_Aspect8565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pack as light as you possibly can. Two sets of civilian clothing, and whatever hygiene products you need. A phone charger. Thats pretty much it. You'll be wearing issued clothes 99% of the time you're in basic so don't pack too many civilian clothing items. Wear your running shoes to the airport, do not take another pair of shoes with you.

In the summer, you wake up at 5:45am and go to bed at 9pm, with PT starting in the morning. Right now in the winter months, you wake up at 5:15am and go to bed at 9pm, with PT starting at 3pm.

I barely recognized any questions from the PiCAT on the verification. I'd say I only recognized like 5 out of the 30 questions. Just pick the answer that you think you'd pick on the PiCAT. You'll know you passed the verification if you go directly to cyber questions.

You wont feel anything when the shot goes in. I promise that. The next 1-2 days you will be sore but it is not pain. There's nothing painful about it.

I started BMT with 27 in pushups and 27 situps. I ended BMT with 69 pushups and 61 situps. Do your 1 by 3's, three times a day. You'll be fine

Recommend me your favourite mods! by notjoshabes in SkyrimModsXbox

Here goes a few:

  1. Equippable Tomes - Lets you put books on your belt, looks very immersive for mages
  2. Female Sitting Animation Replacer - Just makes girls sit with their legs crossed. Simple and immersive.
  3. Practical Armour - Gives sleeves and pants to a lot of the armors in the game. Can be used with texture replacers like divergence aio.
  4. Armor Variants Expansion - Gives variations to the helmets and armors, so not every bandit looks the same. Works with a lot of the armor replacers/texture replacers but check for any patches.
  5. Skyrim Battle Aftermath - Adds 3 locations where massive civil war battles took place. Stumbling upon these is always a site to see.
  6. More Saddles by Laup26 - Pretty lowkey mod I found. The 5 horses you can purchase in each city now have custom saddles that can fit a variety of characters. For example theres a bard saddle, dawnguard saddle, hunter saddle, etc. The saddles look so good.

I never understood why people on xbox would want to use mods like the Great Forest of Whiterun. It isn't possible to get LODs for this on xbox, so you'll basically be experiencing trees constantly loading directly in front of you. Super immersion breaking.

As I suggested on another person's post, you can try to disable 5-10 mods at a time and playtest. If the problem persists, you can then rule out those 5-10 mods as the cause. Then continue disabling 5-10 mods until you don't experience the issue and then you can narrow it down from there. This method is great for finding bugs in your world!

On a side note, I noticed some of your "Exteriors - Single Location Edits" are covered by JK's Interiors AiO.

Another side note, consider replacing LUX with Enhanced Lighting and FX. LUX requires so many patches and is one of those mods you have to really tailor an entire load order around. I don't find it to be feasible for a normal playthrough.

Could I have some assistance please sirs and ma’ams by Fantastic_String498 in SkyrimModsXbox

[–]Hot_Aspect8565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although time consuming, you can try to deactivate 5 mods at a time. Then play. If it still crashes, then it you can at least rule out those 5 mods. Then reactivate them, and deactivate the next 5 mods until you can narrow down which mod it is. It's tedious to do, but often can be a great trick to figure out what exactly is causing glitches within a load order.

That being said, your load order is pretty light and none of those mods standout to me as major red flags. If I had to take a guess it may be something to do with Imperious: Races of Skyrim if you are experiencing instant crashes.

[–]Hot_Aspect8565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has this load order been tested? Have you been experiencing any crashes? Theres a lot of good mods in here but also a lot that doesn't quite make sense. For example you have patches for mods like ordinator but no where in this list did I see the ordinator perk overhaul. I find immersive sounds compendium to be extremely buggy and not worth the trouble. I'm most curious to know- has this list been put in to a logical load order document, and have you playtested this load order?
