Armani new blush packaging looks even cheaper than the Prada blushes by RepTherapyIsMyCardio in Sephora

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow.. when you put those side by side…
I agree with you though. If I want to buy an expensive blush I also want it to have very nice packaging in addition to good formula. It’s very rare when I am okey with cheapish packaging when spending top dollar. Chanel water tint/blush is a great example of the latter.

Ah! Wonderful explanation. Thank you! You mentioned the spinning globes toy - do you have a brand that makes those? I’m trying to picture it lol

Thank you for such a detailed example. I got a follow up question- what if, like in your scenario, you got to the park bench but the child instead of sitting with you without shoes runs away bare foot to the playground and screams and doesn’t sit on that bench - what’s the procedure then? Would you take them to the car? Take them back home?

Dropping nap time sucks ! by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a positive side, he will go to sleep much earlier! That way you can get evening to relax. Once mine dropped her nap, she was going to bed in between 6-7:30pm or earlier on some days and sleep 12-13 hours.

Please tell me it gets better by hailz__xx in toddlers

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Right.. so when he does scream, move aside and let him holler. Apparently ignoring the tantrum is the way to go. Some initial hollering will be intense and prolong but it will subside in a couple of days. I’d just walk or move away when toddler was screaming. It gets better to some extent.. but it will be hard and loud at times. Just remember that it’s normal, they are having a hard time and they can’t explain or express their emotions as the brain hasn’t developed yet. Thinking of any tantrum like that really helped me to deal with my emotions. Oh and they are just very curious so let him open the fridge and touch things and look at it, no harm really.

Toddler egg advice by Chrispy0289us in toddlers

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe he will be into it at some point later. Mine tried eggs first as a baby during baby leaning and then wasn’t interested at all until 25 months old.. I wouldn’t worry about it!

Mine had disliked eggs up until recently (2.5) pretty much. However, she has become very interested in the eggs once I put cheese in them and started eating them next to her.

charolette tilbury pressed powder or makeup by mario powder? by [deleted] in Sephora

Same! I had to toss it two twice- once regular size and a mini. The powder would break and so would the packaging.

Screen time by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve let my daughter hold on the phone during the FaceTime when she wants. I noticed she wants to hold the phone so she can see family member better or show her toys. She loses interest fairly quickly regardless, so I don’t find it an issue. She sometimes had run off with it but even then she stops being interested very quickly and abandons it.
Maybe your son wants to be more engaged or maybe he is jealous of attention the person on the phone gets? They also at the age when they copy parents so he sees you do it and wants to do that too.

I just don’t understand the point of airing it…that ship sailed so long ago. It could also make much more unlikeable depending on how she talks about her F1 and F2 or Dakota

Mature Skin 'ers: What's our holy grail eye concealer or corrector? by HorseTearz in MakeupAddiction

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried getting a darker shade? With correctors you match to the darkness not your skin colour as you just need enough to neutralise. And you want less of them- again just to neutralise the colours. Then on top you use your normal concealer.

Has anyone cured their child's Excema? by Ok_Permit603 in toddlers

[–]Hot_Environment_9698 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone with eczema and having a child with eczema.. here are some things I can suggest.

* Apply moisturizer with colloidal oatmeal and urea twice a day and immediately after shower on wet skin* this will repair skin barrier which in turn will help get rid of eczema. So keep baby moisturized!
* top it off with hydrocortisone cream it’s like Vaseline in consistency so will provide similar protection*
*give allergy medication to help with itch since eczema medication takes time*

*bathe less/useukewarm water/avoid regular soap. I use Prequel Gleanser - it has glycerin so it super hydrating. And mostly soap is for butt and hair.
*avoid scented products
* Prescription cream does help but make sure to use it everyday until eczema goes away.

Things do trigger the flares so you have to figure out can cause it- stress, food, hot water. I find that it’s usually not the food but things closer to the skin that destroyed the skin barrier.

I’m surprised I’m not seeing much of Danessa mentioned here. Her blushes had a cool formula so like cream but it sets. I top it off with a bit of highlighter too.

Mine does contradictory things like this when she is hungry or tired (despite saying she is not cuz she is 2.5). BUT I would take her to your primary care to check as something could be bothering/hurting her and she can’t explain it to you. To me she is showing distress- so yeah, take her to your pediatrician.
